Don’t shop here. I bought a pair of pajamas for my baby. I got home they were too tight, I tried to exchange for something else WITH MY RECEIPT and they would not help me or exchange because I cut the tag off. Horrible customer service

It says it closes at 8. I arrived at 7:20 and The doors were close and the old lady turned around and pretended we weren’t there.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, RUDE, and IDIOTIC RULES!! I am absolutely appalled at how this establishment handles things. I had a 3:00 appointment, on a Friday afternoon because that was the only available. Traffic was extremely heavy and my ETA was set for 10 minutes past. When I called to tell them that I was running a little late, they were stern that they only give a 5 minute grace period, anything past that is cancelled. I pleaded with the girl on the phone , but there were no alternatives. So, I stepped on the gas pedal wherever there was roadway without traffic, fearing of getting a ticket, and by the grace of God, pulled in the parking lot at 3:05! When I walked in, I told them that it took me almost an hout to get there from Hobokn, Nj, but they refused to take my items because they were in a bag, not a bin or a box. Its a dam shame because they are missing out on taking in beautiful brand name clothes all because of their idiotic rules that they wont break. Last time I dealt with them, a few years back, the “bin rule” didn’t exist. She told me that it is on their website. Their website was confusing enough to schedule an appointment, n lever mind look up their newest rules!! In fact, when I did call the store because I was having a problem booking ab appointment online, the lady was rude and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I WILL NEVER TRY TO DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!

I have shopped here at least 10 times. I love the bargains and the store is organized. But the help is awful, the girls behind the counter are miserable, they never smile and they make you feel that they're doing you a favor by being there. I'm not sure who owns this store, but they should definitely talk to their help about maybe smiling once in a while and making people feel welcome. Also, if you bring your child there they will be very upset if he touches the already used toys.

Not a friendly staff! I got pennie’s for brand new items. This was my first time at this location but I should’ve gone to the one in Fairfield as per the reviews. They couldn’t tell me what they were giving me per item and due to confidentiality.. Which is ridiculous and doesn’t make sense what so ever! The other locations told my family per each items how much they were giving… I will never come back to this location, it was one and done for me. Sad to say beyond disappointed and ripped off.

I hate to say this but the two employees that were there during my visit were absolutely horrible. They were combative and rude. I heard them being extremely rude to a customer and then mock her when she left. The two employees today seemed unprofessional and immature to me

The blonde woman with a low pony tail checking the clothes is absolutely nasty. She’s rude and I would never go back there to sell any of my stuff. I had no problem with the price they wanted to give me for clothes but it was how nasty and rude that woman was to me that is the reason I will never be going back. On a positive note, the place is very clean. The prices are really great. The clothes are great and seen as well. Just watch out for the very rude woman. You’ll know her when you encounter her.

Very unprofessional staff! A young lady at the register seems to not care at all to the fact I had to go 2 times to the store and just because I did not have a bins they wanted me to reschedule. First time i wasnt aware that an appointment is needed, even though the store was empty they didn't took me.Second time I was refused because my clothes were on reusable bags.I kindly asked if they could make an exceptions as I forgot to bring the bins and it was my second time driving half an hour to get there but they did not care at all. I asked to speak to a manager and unfortunately she had 0 knowledge from costumer service. The funny think is that she told me that she was the owner of the store. What a lie! A owner would never act that way and treat the costumer in a way they did. I really hope the owner could read the reviews and realize how nasty her staff is.My clothes were almost all Ralph Lauren, cleaned, ironed and gently used, half of them were with tags but they were not considering it at all.The only thing is I wish I would have red the reviews before going there. Everything they say about the negativity you feel as soon as you step in, it is completely true.I will never go back to that store and I would ask my friends and family to do the same! Stay away from that location and don't loose your time and nerves with unprofessional people. Even 1 star is too much for them!

We love the older woman that works here who I believe is the owner but the younger employees who work here are unprofessional and goofing off the whole time as I’m waiting for my buy out. After they finished and offered me my money, they wouldn’t even show me what they were buying from me for that priceTO RESPOND TO YOUR REPLY:No, admittedly their behavior did not push back my buy out timing; HOWEVER, your distracted employees did not properly explain to me what they were taking and what they were giving me for the larger items. I had to ask to know what was taken in the blue bins. They held back the blue bins that were filled with items I wasn’t even aware about until I said something. The Fairfield location promptly shows me what they are taking and the breakdown for each item. Your employees who were too busy tripping over themselves didn’t even have the decency nor transparency to show me what was in their bin. So you’re completely incorrect when you claim your employees DID show everything when they did not. When your employees are distracted, they may forget to do things or may not handle business in a professional manner. We’re never doing business with this location again. Hire some professional people and maybe don’t reply to criticism in such a way that causes you to lose business.

They offered $1 for an $89 Jacadi sweater that was worn once for ten minutes, $1 for a carters shirt that was worn a million times and $1 for Baby Gap items that were new with the tags on. The buyer when I was there didn’t know what a sleep sack was. I will definitely never sell here again.Gave two stars because it’s a good place to buy books when the library isn’t having sales.*I sold at the Paramus location ( Rt 17) on Wednesday, 8/16 - $38 for 39 items

Bad customer service, argumentative in reviews, and overall unprofessional. Your store has 3.5 stars. Maybe take the advice and criticism given to you and work on improving that.

Unfortunately, I have never had a great experience in this shop. I have returned over the years in an effort to reduce, reuse and recycle and have found some items for my kids, but over the years, the quality has steadily gone down as has the attitudes of the staff. The feedback from prior reviewers is "spot on" where they indicate that staff seem to be bothered that they have to deal with customers. Sadly despite the feedback, they don't seem to care and nothing seems to change. I have visited other franchise locations and have found them to be wonderful. It is a shame that this location can't get it together.The store is overcrowded with fast fashion / cheaply made clothing and requires a shopper to look carefully at what they are buying. I have found items with pulls, stains and excess wear and tear, which is ironic, as when I try to sell to them, they continuously reject the perfect quality of J. Crew and Polo items. The store is also noticeably lacking season specific items and many of the bins of shoes are empty. Not sure if this is due to lack of consignments or the attitude that they present to consignors and turning down much needed inventory that is brought in. In addition to the quality of the product going down, the service is absolutely horrendous. The staff could care less about doing their jobs. Staff does not want to assist customers. They seem more interested in chatting with each other than doing their jobs. One customer was told that they couldn't go through their consignment bins because they were 10 minutes early, despite having people behind the counter standing around doing nothing ... and then shortly after that ... another consignor shows up 10 minutes early and they immediately take in those items for processing without finishing the prior consignors bins. Additionally, when selling to the shop, they won't give you a list of the items they are purchasing and how much they are being purchased for. The only response provided is "it's our policy". It all is a bit too fishy. Even ThredUp tells you how much they are purchasing each item for. The store has all of the information in a computer system that they can clearly see, they just choose to not be transparent in the business transaction. As a customer, it is no longer worth the time to dig through the "junk". As a consignor, there are so many other choices where your business is wanted and customers are respected. My recommendation is go elsewhere. ThredUp.com for online or Gingerbread Consignment shop in Midland Park are far better options and the local owner is lovely to deal with.

I normally don’t write reviews but this is my last time going to this location. The lady with blonde hair is very rude and unprofessional. She doesn’t speak and they also give you pennies for your items if you’re selling to them.

Everyone in the store is super nice , except the manager or owner , there was an issue with someone not ringing up an item that I was returning and the manager / owner took it and repeatedly said I can not let this item leave it is still in my inventory !!! Really like I was going to steal from a second hand store . You sure need the 3 dollars more than I do . Learn some customer service YOU ARE RUDE ! I was selling some stuff they are very adamant about taking the items in a bin , I nicely folded them all and when I got what they did not take it was all thrown in the bin and that same lady was the one who threw them in. That's just lack of care and concern for your customers.
