My family and I consulted Dr. DeSantis based on a recommendation from a co-worker. We were not getting satisfactory answers from our current veterinarian regarding our dog, Lulu, who wasn't eating and had lost significant weight.
Dr. DeSantis's dedication was evident from the start. He conducted a comprehensive examination, reviewed Lulu's medical records, and advised us to make immediate changes to her medication. He ordered additional tests, but unfortunately, nothing conclusive was found.
After further discussion, he recommended that Lulu undergo another ultrasound. Unfortunately, this revealed cancer in her spleen, stomach, and other areas. Throughout this difficult time, Dr. DeSantis was respectful and kind, responding to my emails promptly.
Saying goodbye to our dog was heartbreaking, but Dr. DeSantis made the situation more bearable. He explained the process of pet euthanasia and was very compassionate and caring. I could understand that it was the best for our Lulu. We trust Dr. DeSantis and have decided to bring our other pets in to see him.

We went to Oradell Animal Hospital by chance as they were the only hospital open that would take my bunny Louis. Little did we know we would have the most gracious and dedicated care for both us and our baby. We will never forget the level of compassion the entire staff showed us from the front desk to the vet. This is the ONLY option for a safe and accommodating place for your pet in need.

so the wait time was 3 1/2 hours to see a doctor for nine minutes. I realize we weren’t high priority, and I actually can respect that (dealing with more critical cases) more than the fact that front staff at both check-in and checkout were ridiculously rude. Debbie could benefit from Dale Carnegie training, I’d welcome a call with the office manager to discuss further. I will give kudos where it’s due, the techs were lovely and accommodating.

Bad marks only for the customer phone service. On hold for 30 min or more numerous times. Customer Service Reps need a lot of improvement. Vets are great.

PLEASE HIRE MORE PEOPLE TO ANSWER PHONES…. Insufferable hold times. It’s really selfish to waste people’s time.

i wish i could give 0 stars to them. super expensive vet.. my pet passed out during a surgery (that should’ve been a X Ray) that they knew she will not resist because of her age, just to see what was inside her stomach. they took advantage of our desperation. ended up with a 10,000 debt and a dead dog.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion Dr. James Su provided when my dog was in a life-threatening state. After my dog fell into diabetic ketoacidosis, I rushed her to the emergency room, only to be told she would not make it and that euthanasia was the only option. Heartbroken but determined, I took her to her regular vet, where I received the same devastating prognosis. My dog was alive but unconscious, her glucose levels dangerously high, and her eyes shut. Despite the grim outlook, I refused to give up.
Thankfully, I brought her to Oradell Animal Hospital, where Dr. Su stepped in. He immediately assessed her situation and recommended hospitalization, which, unfortunately, was far beyond my financial means. But what sets Dr. Su apart is that he didn’t stop there. Understanding the circumstances, he worked with me to come up with a plan that I could afford. He prescribed the necessary medication, thoroughly explained how I could care for her at home, and reassured me that there was still hope.
Thanks to Dr. Su's dedication and expertise, my dog has made a remarkable recovery. It has now been a week, and after follow-up blood work, she is doing absolutely phenomenal! Her energy is back, her glucose levels have stabilized, and she is on the road to a full recovery. Dr. Su didn’t just save my dog’s life—he restored my faith when others had given up.
His compassion, willingness to go above and beyond, and tireless dedication to my dog’s health will never be forgotten. Dr. Su and the team at Oradell Animal Hospital are true lifesavers, and I will forever be grateful for their exceptional care.

DO NOT GO HERE! I should’ve gone w my instinct when I walked in door. Smelled in entrance. Waiting room was dirty. Exam room was filled with nonsense bean bags and Knick knacks on counters so you know it wasn’t sanitary. There was also a clown college degree on the wall, again my instinct was to leave. While “vet” was speaking to us the dog was trying to eat stuff left on the floor. Her words oh there’s always stuff for dogs to eat. Around 12 hours later later my dog was having diarrhea and needing to bring him to another vet ER two days later. This place should be shut down, can’t imagine subjecting my animal to a surgery there. Thats animal abuse.

Dr. KB Brown is not only an incredibly skilled veterinarian but also an amazing human being. Dr. Brown genuinely cares about both the animals and their owners. They took the time to explain everything in detail and treated my pet with the care. It's rare to find someone who is so good at what they do and is also so kind and understanding.

We unfortunately just had our beloved cat, Celia, pass from an aggressive cancer and we cannot express our thanks enough to OAH and Dr. Durante in particular for the care she received at the end of her life.
We brought her in through ER after she hadn’t been doing well for a couple days thinking she had a tooth abscess and certainly didn’t think we only had two weeks left with her. She was quickly seen, admitted and diagnosed.
Dr. Durante was exceptionally caring in explaining her condition, creating a treatment plan, and helping us make agonizing decisions. He was exceptionally proactive in calling us—morning or evening, weekday or weekend—whenever there was an update on her condition or test results. Once we got her home, he was exceptionally responsive and caring in talking through changes in her condition, including when we needed to have tough conversations about end of life.
We were exceptionally blessed to have that support through this process.
