My experience with PC Richard's customer service has been an absolute nightmare. Our high-end dishwasher broke down in February, thankfully still under full warranty and extended warranty. However, the ordeal began when they scheduled appointments twice, only to cancel at the last minute, citing obscure reasons like the company not agreeing to replace it and claiming it needed part replacement.Finally, on the third attempt, they sent a technician with a used, second-hand part, which is completely unacceptable for a top-tier appliance. Upon speaking with the technician, it became evident even to them that the dishwasher needed to be replaced entirely. But rather than taking swift action, they promised to "review" the situation and call back, a promise they've made five times now.It's been three agonizing months of no dishwasher, and with three kids, this is beyond inconvenient—it's borderline irresponsible on their part. Despite being well within our warranty period, nobody at PC Richard seems willing to accept responsibility or provide a timely resolution.This has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. The lack of accountability, endless delays, and disregard for our situation are simply ridiculous. It's unacceptable for a company of their stature to leave customers hanging like this. Buyer beware—PC Richard's warranty and customer service are anything but reliable.

We were long-time customers of P.C. Richards, having bought all our appliances from the Paramus store in the past, but we're very disappointed with our last purchase experience. The salesman Dwayne talked us into buying a different replacement range than we originally wanted because it was on sale. We hated it and within a week asked to exchange it for the same make/model as our previous stove. Our credit card was immediately charged for the restocking fee and the difference in price, but the range was back ordered for months. I understand supply chain issues, etc., but no one seemed to be able to give us even a ballpark estimate of when it would come in, which turned out to be about four months later. Likely our last purchase from P.C. Richards in Paramus.

We bought our home appliances this january, and the fridge stoped working 30 days after we got it and now they say they cant replace it with a new one, the problem with the fridge is that the compressor doesn’t work for a compressor not work only 31 days after we bought this fridge its definitely a mechanical issues. Very disappointed with this store this will be the last time we buy from them.

I had a problem which was probably my mistake. I ordered a Pokémon tape and somehow I was suppose to pick it up at a store far away from where I live. When I called the 800 number someone connected me to Joseph at the N.Y. store and he took care of the issue for me, what a nice man ty. It’s a gift for my grandson so he put me at ease and changed it to shipping for me. I have bought all my appliances from P.C Richards and I can tell you the care from them is excellent. They genuinely care about their customers and it’s more personal not like a lot of other stores. Thank you again Joesph.

I worked with Richard Ferreira and he was INCREDIBLE. He literally spent HOURS helping me with a really complicated order. I’ve never written a review for anyone before but I just had to for Richard because he went so above and beyond. I had never shopped at PC Richard before, but I’ll never go anywhere else after having such a positive experience here. Truly exceptional.

On 1/13/2024, my husband and I visited P.C Richards in Paramus, NJ. Upon arrival, a salesperson directed our attention to a promotion on mattresses, encouraging us to consider their range of products. After testing several options, we mentioned a competitive offer from Mattress Firm, which included a money-back guarantee, a substantial discount, a free mattress cover, and 2 pillows. The representative and the store manager assured us that they would not only match this offer but also provide additional benefits, including the option to open a store credit card with 36 months of interest-free payments, as opposed to the original 24 months, and a money-back guarantee. Convinced by the promise of a deal, we proceeded with the purchase. The mattress provided one of the most uncomfortable nights' sleep we have ever experienced, prompting us to request a return the following day. Contrary to the salesperson's assurances, they informed us that we were eligible only for an exchange, not a refund. This contradicts the explicit terms of our agreement at the time of purchase, constituting a bait-and-switch tactic once payment was secured. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue amicably with both the store and district managers, our requests for a refund have been categorically denied. The DM offered a store credit which is unsatisfactory and impractical for us. Our efforts to escalate the matter to corporate have been met with silence and inaction. This situation has left us with a costly purchase that we cannot use, causing us to resort to sleeping in separate bedrooms from the discomfort. The refusal to provide a refund, honor their verbal agreement, or even engage in constructive dialogue has resulted in considerable stress for our family. We seek a full refund, in line with the initial agreement. We believe this resolution is not only fair but necessary to rectify the significant inconvenience and distress caused by their practices.
