I scheduled an appointment for recall work and engine service, and no one mentioned any upfront diagnostic fees. When I arrived, they suddenly wanted upfront payment for two hours of diagnostics, which was never discussed. They claimed it was “discounted” from three hours and said a compression test alone takes two hours, a big red flag.
I called another Hyundai dealership and was told diagnostics are only one hour with no upfront charge. I took my car back and went elsewhere. This place feels more focused on squeezing money out of customers than providing honest service.
