  On 11/22 I stoped in the Talbots store at Paramus Park and once again I received excellent service. I ordered an item on line only to try it on & the blouse did not fit well. The sales associate stoped what she was doing & found the current size for me. She was very caring & showed a genuine interest to help me . I was so happy & satisfied. Thank you Talbots for professional & friendly associates. The Talbots store in Paramus Park. All the sales associates are friendly & truly show a desire to help the customers. I have been to other Talbots in Bergen county & Paramus Park is truly my favorite. So thank you again.

  I wish I could give 0 stars to the store. Pathetic customer service. I stepped out of the store a couple of minutes back and I am writing this review.
  First thing , I asked for where the trial room is , the store manager’s response was “ it is not that you are coming to the store for the first time”
  
  Of course I came to this store in this particular location for the first time and I do not know where the trial room is located. The manager whom I
  Would categorize as a racist should have had the basic common sense of not making such a comment . The management from Talbots who is monitoring this thread can contact me and get my details in order to check if it is my first time in the store at this location.
  
  Secondly I took about 6 yo 7 tops to try in the trial room.
  I actually put everything neatly on hangers after I tried them. Looks like I accidentally put one top inside out as I was in a rush as it was 5 minutes away from shop closing time. The manager makes faces at me and tells me that I put my top inside out. This is when I lost my patience and I raised my voice and asked her if it were such a big deal if I put one top inside out considering I have neatly put the rest of the clothes on hangers.She says I have to make sure that I put everything in order.
  
  The next thing the racist manager says is that I always walked into this store at the closing time. This women is really pathetic. I am coming to this store in this location for the first time. How can she label me as walking into the store at closing hours all the time . Infact she is being rude pathetic and very hostile to a customer. I have shopped in different stores in my last 20 year in U.S.A and I have never seen this kind of hostility and racism in any store. This person does not know how to treat a customer with respect and dignity. I was shell shocked.
  All this while the other employees working in the store was like the manager had a long day and hence was not talking politely ( I might not be using the exact words) . The next thing I told was the manager was being a racist.
  
  Both the women started shouting and the manager said I do not have to shop with them. She was behaving like a rowdy. I got terrified. The moment she said that I do not have to shop with the them. I walked out of the store. My husband and my 5 year old were waiting for me outside the store . This racist manager actually came out of te store and started shouting at my husband. I have been shopping at Talbots ( not this location) since many years. I will never be shopping at Talbots again. Last 20 years in this country I have never seen racism but this women actually showed me what racism means.
  I have shopped at Bloomingdale’s, Macys , Ann tayllor, Nordstrom, Karen Millen, Dollar tree and many stores but shopping was never unpleasant for me. In fact most of the times employees are very friendly and treat customers with respect and dignity and know the importance of customer service.
  Talbots I am very very disappointed with the customer service at your store and will never ever shop again at yours. No one deserves the kind of treatment meted out by your racist employees at your store today.. Your manager should definitely be taken to task. I am definitely going to explore the legal channels.

  Agree with a previous reviewer about the hours. Their clothing is quality and stylish as usual. Nice sized store with kind and professional employees.

  How can a clothing store, located in a mall, set their hours of operation from 10-5 pm Mon,Tues,Weds. Most, if not all, of your customers work between the hours of 9-5. Some of us cannot make it to shop between 10-5pm, with the exception of extending Thurs, Friday and Sat to 6pm and that's pushing it if people can even make it then. Management may never see this but it's common sense with regards to hours of operation.
