-5 if I could, i was coming to cash out a check i got from a settlement and the tellers wouldn’t let me. Mind you i have done so before in the past, this is a 2nd settlement check I’ve received from my lawyer. The lady who was attending on the teller section took my NJ state ID with my Chase Debit card and my check to the back office and said “give me a moment” this should have been a red flag, why would she take my license and my debit card and my check to the back. I have been a victim of identity theft couple months ago so this was very worrisome, I dont know if she took a picture of my documents and kept them. You should never do that if you work for a bank it is very very suspicious. Then she came out and said they could not cash my check and there was nothing they could do and to rake it to my bank to deport it. I was so confused because in the past the TD bank by my house they let me cash out my first settlement check which was around the same amount i wanted to cash out today. I felt so uncomfortable, it felt like i was being profiled for being a hispanic man trying to take out a large amount of cash, just because I’m latino doesn’t mean i can cash out a check ? That sounds very discriminatory and should be further investigated at this branch. It felt as my rights as a citizen were being violated by these workers due to me being a latino man withdrawing a large amount of money as if i were doing something wrong???? no one cared to help me and I was being stared at while i was trying to get an answer as to why they couldn’t help me. It was very embarrassing and humiliating being profiled and discrimated this way . The manager didnt get her name she was very dismissive and rude kept saying the samething over and over again. I work Sales and these representatives are very unprofessional, this is why i would never Bank at TD because of workers like these. All I wanted to do was Cash a check I received for an injury claim . Please avoid this location! Go elsewhere, CHASE OR BOA!Update: I called TD bank corporate line and left a detailed complaint with their customer service department and I have not heard back regarding this matter. I was told someone would reach out to me but nothing yet…..

Illiana is a sweet heart working by herself. Walked in and three people here working. Though I wasn't greeted at all, waited on line while a female and gentleman walked off. Horrible customer service in my opinion and horrible teamwork.

Had problems with getting online access for my business banking account for weeks. I decided to go to the Elmwood park branch but after going twice they couldn't fix the issue. I then went to the Paramus branch on paramus road and had Victor help me. In less than 20 minutes he had everything the way I wanted it. I should have visited this branch first. Thank you Victor.

We were told to sit down and wait for a representative to help us, we proceeded to wait for 15 minutes for something that probably would have taken less than 5. While waiting, another customer was helped by both a teller and a representative while we were rudley snubbed and never told what was going on. Poor communication and customer service. We left and are never going back to that branch.

I alway have an issue with this bank but usually it's just them trying to charge me for money orders but I always walk out not paying the fee. But this last time really was the last straw I went in on the 5th of February trying to get a money order for my car insurance and they started with you have to pay for a money order blah blah blah. I sat with a bank rep who said they were going to change my account to a much better account and I agreed to the terms about a month later I noticed I didn't get the interest rate that I was promised! I end up calling td and asking them what was going on and they told me they never change my account and that they would sign me up for the account that I was promised to begin with but with different stipulations and once again, I agreed. But I felt I had a bone to pick with this location so I went back on a Saturday to ask WHY THERE IS ALWAYS AN ISSUES WITH THIS BANK? I was told by a bank rep that the first woman pushed the wrong button and signed me up for the wrong account. So I went home thinking, ok they admitted they're wrong and everything would be corrected. To my surprise I got a call from the bank manager, Monday, stating that they were not at fault and that i was in the wrong and trying to mix my words to confuse me. I was so shocked at the woman's rudeness! I will never go back to this bank ever again I hope they fire all the managers and reps and start anew. I have had a TD Bank account since I was 10 I love the bank it self but this one has to go!
