HOW does a fully addressed package make it all the way across the pond from Ireland to the US unscathed but Paramus post office cannot locate it in their facility despite several intake scans AND an informed delivery notice stating that it should have been delivered to me four days ago. How?

I am not pleased with the service at this place for the following reasons:1- Everytime I have been there, there is a line and only one person at the counter. They need to hire more people. At least two people should be at the counter like in other post offices that I have seen.2- I recently had an issue with a package that I had delivered to this place. in the USPS website says that if you get a PO box at the Paramus location, you also can use their address to get stuff delivered. Which I really like because some sellers do not deliver to PO boxes. I got an email saying that my package was delivered, so I drove there to pick it up. Went to the counter, gave the lady the tracking number and she told me that I need to get things delivered to the PO box not their address. I kept explaining to her that on the USPS website says that it is allowed. Then she tells me to go check my PO box. Again, I explain to her that I didn't put the PO box because the seller states on their website that they do not deliver to PO boxes. Then she started question me on why the seller does not deliver to po boxes (I don't know!! I don't work with them; I am just a customer!!! - I thought but didn't say it) Then she told me to go check again my PO box and I had to explain to her all over (I am not sure if she was new or something) then she started question me on why I chose to not get it delivered to my PO box and had to explain myself all over again. Then she finally asked a man there (not sure who he was), and he told me that my tracking number was not real (what?) I showed them the tracking number from the website and then he noticed that they were typing the tracking number on the wrong site and told me that my package was delivered but it was not ready and to come back the next day. I come back the next day, show the tracking number to the lady at the counter (different one) and she tells me that she does not go for whatever my phone says, she will check in the back and if is there, she will bring it to me (IF?) I told her that it got delivered yesterday, and she repeated herself again. Anyway, she finally gave my package and I left. For $111 dollars which I paid for the PO box, this behavior is unacceptable. I will not come to this place again after I find somewhere else to get my mail. One positive thing is that they have a parking lot which is cool.

I would say stay away from this post office if you need an attendant to help with your package. When I applied for my first adult passport here couple years back, pretty sure the lady attendant gave me COVID, she was rude as well. I usually use the kiosk at night when I need send things using Priority Mail packaging I have at home (which you can order for free online). Giving it 3 stars since the only thing going for it is convenience for me.

The gentlemen helping me was polite but the 2 ladies behind the counter kept chiming in interuptting the conversation. Customer service -10 out of 10. If you're not using self drop off do not bother coming here. They will not help and just want to move on to the next customer. Awful

Mail carriers constantly put mail for other addresses in my box... I'm talking at least once a week, often more. Today, I got ALL of my neighbor's mail. NOTHING addressed to me. So now I'm left wondering who has my mail, and if whoever received it will be courteous enough to place it in my box, as I regularly do when I receive others' mail. This has been going on for years now, and is getting worse. PARAMUS POSTMASTER, DO YOUR JOB AND GET THESE CARRIERS RETRAINED. It's disgusting.

Lady with glasses refuses to give receipt for prepaid package drop off. No matter the circumstance. USPS you need to look into your employees.

I went to the usps store in Piermont closter nj.t, the worker there a male staff was rude just because the boxes i went need a piece of tape to seal the box. He needs a better training to deal with customers. I'll never step foot in that store again

I just stood there for 5 minutes during open hours and got no help. The lady behind the counter walked by a couple of times but ignored me. I never come here and this is why. They should close this office because it has been incompetent for years.

Drive a couple minutes extra to go to the fair lawn or Glen rock USPS. Trust me - it’s worth it.I’ve never had a problem with the Paramus location but seeing workers answering questions with attitudes or one-word answers I choose not to go here.

Had a call from the Paramus Post Office. They asked me to call them back on their main number. Tried 3 times. They don't answer the phone and after 3 minutes it hangs up on you.

I hate to agree with the majority of reviews, but this Post Office is awful! I have the USPS Informed Delivery App so I know what is supposed to be delivered every day. I’m aware that sometimes it may take an extra day for an item to arrive, but for the most part it’s very accurate.Monday I was expecting 7 items to be delivered, two of which are important. Received NO mail at all on Monday. Yesterday I received the 3 items listed for delivery for Tuesday, but none of the items from Monday. Spoke to the mail carrier, who was a sub for our regular mail carrier, Jeff, who is great. The sub said he wasn’t on our route on Monday and that we should call the Post Office to inquire about our missing mail. Easier said than done! I gave up after 3 tries, but my husband was more persistent and he attempted to call at least 6 times. Every time the phone rang for 3 minutes and 40 seconds, and then disconnected.Today I went in person. After having two separate employees “look” for my missing mail I was told: 1. It must have been a light mail day. 2. There’s nothing being held for you here. 3. Maybe you’ll get it today. 4. Perhaps we never received these mail items. Do they even know what they’re doing?! Very frustrating!
