“This place is a true NJ landmark it has been around since the 1970's or 1980's and that was when on first time to get my first true R/C car. I was a kid and now I am 56 . They have everything you can think of when it comes to the R/C hobby and glad to see they are still are while alot of the other shops have gone away which is real shame because people lost interest, didn't know or couldn't afford the hobby but truly glad this one is still around and going.”
“I was at the Rockaway, NJ Build a Bear today and experienced the most amazing service ever! Rylee and Emma were on top of their game. I brought in 7 Girl Scouts to create Build-a-Bears and gave no notice to the employees (oops, it slipped my mind!), but these two employees were absolutely perfect and professional the entire time. Not only that, but they made it sooo much fun for my scouts and kept big smiles on the whole time! I hope they get the appropriate recognition they deserve!”

“A real, family owned, family run toy store!! The owner helped us pick out the perfect gift for our grandson. He ordered it, assembled it and helped me load it into my vehicle. Good old-fashioned customer service with a warm and welcoming owner.”
“This place flew under my radar, perhaps because of the name. It'd be more accurately called Meyer's Trains & Toys, as it's a dream for any train-obsessed kid (or adult for that matter). While the toy selection isn't anything reminicant of the toy stores of the 90s, the owner is great and you'll probably generally find what you're looking for.”

“I just went and got 2 great calendars from there today. I got a beautiful Disney wall calendar and then a daily calendar where you rip a page off each day and it has a new vocabulary word to learn daily. I love it. It was a difficult choice to make because they have so many choices. You can find just about any calendar you're looking for there.”

“I have collected Breyer Model Horses since I was 4 years old in 1969. That is over 50 years. As a Child growing up here in Canada, finding Breyers is not as easy as in the USA. After getting married in 1989, we went to Florida for our Honeymoon. What did I want to do? Find Breyers, and I did. It is amazing how these plastic horses can make someone so happy. Now, 53 years later, I have a collection of over 500 or so Breyer models. Of all sizes, from tiny Stablemates and Minny Whinnys to the Traditional ones that I cherish with all of my heart. I want to send a HUGE shoutout to the FABULOUS Customer Service that I receive from Christine at Breyer. She always goes over and above the Norm when it comes to CS. “I had read the reviews and was wary of shopping here. Reviews were partially right. I walked to the desk where two ladies were working. The first woman was brusque and short with me, lot of attitude. Handed me off to a younger woman. The other one was lovely and very helpful. She got out the baby registry form and patiently helped me choose a gift. The merchandise is fun, although $$$, and I was pleased with my purchase.”
