The pharmacy department is just aweful. To drop off an RX I was on line for 30 minutes. Just to drop off. A few weeks ago a family had surgery. I dropped off the rx at window, which was also a long wait. They said to come back at noon. About 2 hrs later. For pain meds. I was there at noon. They said after 1pm. They have lunch at 1 so would if been closed. I told them its for pain meds after a surgery the are in pain, they were rude. Finally someone else came to help and had my RX 20 minutes later. I had left her for another place, but they closed down so am essentially forced back. The store is good. Lots of stuff, line is reasonable wait

This was my last visit to Walgreens, and I’ve already decided to switch pharmacies after this terrible experience. I came in to drop off prescriptions for allergy medication, including three meds—two prescription-only and one over the counter. The employee helping me asked the pharmacist a question, came back, and told me all three medications were in the allergy aisle. I questioned him, saying I knew one was over the counter, but he insisted they were all there.
I wasted 10 minutes searching the aisle and, as I expected, only found the one over-the-counter medication. I had to get back in line, wait another 10 minutes, and explain the situation to a different employee. She checked with the pharmacist, confirmed my prescriptions, and assured me they could fill them.
What pushed me over the edge was the first employee’s response. Instead of acknowledging his mistake, he grabbed the pharmacist to explain that the misinformation came from her. I told him it didn’t matter where he got the information—it was his responsibility to ensure the words coming out of his mouth were accurate. He’s the one communicating with customers, and if he doesn’t know something, he should say so and get someone else to help, rather than relaying misinformation like it’s fact.
There was no apology from him—just eye rolls and a dismissive attitude. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand the importance of customer care, and if these employees wanted to care about their customers, they would. This isn’t just a training issue—it’s a lack of accountability and empathy.
This is a recurring issue at this location; the employees simply don’t seem to care. I’ve canceled the pickup for my medications, called my provider to issue new scripts, and will be taking my business to another pharmacy. Walgreens, train your staff to prioritize accuracy and customer care—this level of incompetence and disregard for customers is unacceptable.

I used to hate going to Walgreens but now it's fun. The employees are very helpful. I still don't like going there when the Asian manager is there. Everyone else is very helpful and willing to help you get what you're looking for.

This pharmacy department is the worst. I called in for two medications a lady said it will be ready at a certain time, I get there one of meds wasn’t going to be ready until Monday. Plus they gave me the wrong amount of medication. I’m so glad I pay attention. The cashier ladies were nice but that pharmacy back office is horrible.

Poor customer service. When you try to call there’s extremely long wait times. It’s the same for when you pick up a prescription. They also gave me the wrong medication for my son once. I stressed how dangerous that was with the head pharmacist and he undermined my concern. Will have all my prescriptions transferred somewhere else!

Go somewhere else for pharmacy items. Every time I go in for pickup, it is at least 45 minutes. Horrible!!

One word to describe this place - inefficient. My wife and I were scheduled to get COVID booster shots at 6.30pm - we arrived on time. We registered, gave our prescription card and waited. After about 30 minutes of waiting, they could not take me because my name was not on the insurance card. It never will as it’s my wife’s insurance. Told them to forget me and just take care of my wife. More waiting and in the meantime, people were queuing up at the single register and no one at the back wants to help. Finally, a customer complained about the line getting too long so they open another register. At 7.30pm, my wife got her booster. So, if you have a scheduled appointment, prepare to wait and be aggravated. Otherwise, if you’re just picking up prescriptions, you’ll be fine.

I’ve dealt with them a few times now. Here’s all the recounts of all exchanges:
1) There’s a caucasian elderly lady with white hair at the pharmacy counter who makes calls on protocols incorrectly. Unless you assert yourself, she’ll bulldoze you and shut you down based on her made up imposed walgreens rules. For example, return policies.
2) There’s so many of them working here (more than average walgreens pharmacy), yet for some reasons, even with 3-4 workers huddled at the register, it takes them so long to deal with 1 customer. So it ends up back up the line.
3) There’s a lady here with long black hair and white lab coat. When we stood at the nurse consultation window for our 5:30pm covid vaccine appointment, she told us to line up. Because of their delay, there were already at least 10 people queuing and definitely would’ve surpassed our 5:30pm shot appointment easily at least by 30 mins.
It didn’t seem right that we would be late for our appointment by an hour by lining behind others who are merely there to pickup their RX. My husband stood in line but I continued waiting at the consultation window.
Lo and behold, a pharmacy tech yelled out to the line of anyone was there for scheduled vaccines, as the nurse is about to leave soon. I expedited myself towards her and told her yes we have a 5:30pm that has been delayed now for 20 mins because the lady in white coat told us to line up behind people.
It gets worse from here, they couldn’t find my husband and I’s appointment that we prescheduled. I even called before 12pm that day to confirm our appointment and request to move my husband’s to the same time as mine. The lady I spoke to over the phone, who had an east asian accent, asked me for the names and said we are good to okay. The pharmacy tech I spoke with said that a person named “Nina” at 12:30 had a note on their paper that says what I had described, except that’s not my husband’s name.
4) Pharmacy tech, Nekie, was good at handling curveballs, and took us in despite their system issue. She was the only one at the pharmacy who cared about customer care. She told us we can call back in after we get home to confirm if our confirmation code coincides with their system, given they couldn’t find us. We called back, but she left so was assisted by the lady with white coat again. She said that my query doesn’t matter as I already received my shot. I explained to her that that doesn’t matter, I want to confirm if there’s something wrong with their system, and I want to make sure everything is connected. She starts talking to another lady at the pharmacy, which I can hear clearly and stops talking. Didn’t even have the decency to ask me to wait a few minutes while she does something else. She then gets back to me and says that she sees my confirmation number, and that the reason they couldn’t find us is because my name wasn’t on the paper they printed in the morning.
This white coat lady is also on the phone all day so good luck trying to patch through on a call in case you want to call about medication questions.
Pathetic.

Extremely rude and unpleasant staff. They don't know how to speak to customers nicely. My parents have been there for their appointments twice and were treated rudely both times by the main pharmacist and the techs.
