“I love this store. The same people have been running it for years, I think. They moved from another location in Passaic to 177 Passaic St, Passaic, NJ 07055 this past February. I plugged the new location into my GPS, and it took me for a really stupid loop. But alas, I found it and it’s super easy! And they have an easy parking lot. It’s on the corner of Passaic St and Market St.My cousin turned me and my Mom on to the store years ago. My Mom always liked going there because they have such a unique selection, and the store was organized and everyone so nice. I don’t know how many stores they have in total, but I know it’s not a major chain. It seems like a really well run family business. I’m so excited to bring my Mom back to the store over the holidays. They have easy parking and handicapped parking right out in front.Will give another report after our visit. Happy holidays”

“They had rubbing alcohol, which is still a hot commodity during this viral outbreak!!!The price stayed the same when I used the card, if you spend at least $5 you can use your card. The cashier was friendly and the store was roomy. It was well organized. It had enough of particular important items for me to desire to go again.”

“Store # 7958 on Van Houten Ave, Passaic, NJ. 5 stars for Ronnie. I needed a lot of help.Ronnie was outstanding & helped me find everything. She was very busy, but stopped unpacking things to help me. I love Ronnue, she deserves a raise.Now, on to Clara, the cashier. She was pleased to see every customer. “This was my first time inside of this dollar general & it was an OK experience. They definitely have a lot to offer at discounted prices but some of the aisles were very messy. The store also looked a bit dark upon walking in as if they needed brighter light bulbs. I would come back if I am looking for discounted home decor which is what I was mainly browsing.”
