Unfortunately I have to give them 1 star. If I could I’d give the Zero stars. This was the second time my husband and I came here to see what they could offer. First time I went they are very passive aggressive and will not work with you. They want to make the most money ey out of you!! Then I have them the benefit of the doubt and went with my husband and father in law and AGAIN, they were so dishonest and will not work with you. They make it seem like they are giving you the best deal when in fact they are trying to make the most out of you! It’s really sad that there are people who come here and think they are getting a deal. Please DO NOT COME HERE!! Find somewhere you feel comfortable . It’s like going to a zoo !!!! Do not go here!!

Staff was not nice at all. When I brought the car, nothing was done until a day later. Moreover, they showed me a 350 dollar receipt first, but I paid 500 dollars when I got back the car.

Every time that I come here is a different story. I came today to replace the tire and it took me hours since 1:35 and is 4:00 and still not done I tell the person that is was taking care of my car that I have to pick up my son at certain time and it’s always an excuse. I will not recommend this place at all I give them a lot of chances and come back . But this is playing with people time .

This was a terrible experience. I booked a maintainance and service package. The package included oil change, air filter, cabin filter, and new wiper blades. After I paid and left the dealership I noticed that the wipers were never changed and told that they are only changed on an IF needed basis (they were 2 years old. Then the service light came on stating that it was time for an oil change. They allegedly did the oil change. So now I'm wondering if ANYTHING was done. I called the service manager twice on different days and left a message. I received no call backs. I then took it to a different dealer and the service and treatment was like night and day. Beware!

Mom went to get an oil change ended up getting charged 279.00 the car is a 2025 just got this year and they did a differential fluid you do that after the 30,000 car had only 12,000 miles like wow , the advisor was named Daniel crazy how you guys just like to take money from old people

Complaint About Garden State Honda – Dishonest and Unethical Practices.
I have had multiple negative experiences with Garden State Honda, which I now consider a dishonest and untrustworthy dealership. Although I was never satisfied with their service, I continued to go there because it is the only nearby Honda dealership close to my home. I would like to share three incidents that clearly demonstrate their unethical practices.
1.Tire Rotation and Wheel Alignment Scam
I scheduled an appointment at 11:30 AM for a tire rotation and wheel alignment. Due to my previous bad experiences, I decided to be cautious. I marked all four tires and installed a dash camera inside my car. When I arrived at the dealership, I told the service advisor, Cheyenne Henriquez, about the services I needed and mentioned that my gears were stiff. He immediately quoted me around $200. I told him not to worry about the gear stiffness and to just leave it as it was and again mentioned to him that I need only tire rotation and wheel alignment.
After about three hours, they returned my car and said all services were completed. I paid the bill and checked my car — none of the tires had been rotated, and my camera had been disconnected. When I confronted them, the service advisor asked how I knew the work hadn’t been done. I explained that I had marked the tires, and they were in the exact same position with no signs of being touched.
2. Gear Problem After Oil Change
On another visit for an oil change, after picking up my car, I noticed that it had become very difficult to shift gears. At the time, I didn’t realize what was happening, but now I believe this dealership may have caused the issue intentionally to make more money through unnecessary repairs.
3. Oil Change Incident
I went to Garden State Honda for an oil change, and they claimed the service was completed. However, after driving home and parking, I noticed oil leaking all over my driveway. I immediately called the dealership, and they asked me to bring the car back. When I did, they fixed the issue and admitted that the oil drain bolt had not been tightened properly.
Without performing any actual service, they charged me the full price. When I questioned them, the service advisor became defensive and raised his voice. If they can deceive someone like me in my 30s, I can’t imagine how many elderly customers, especially those living on limited incomes, are being taken advantage of and robbed by Garden State Honda.
I sincerely hope the authorities investigate Garden State Honda and take appropriate action to stop these unethical practices.
DONT GO TO GARDEN STATE HONDA. THESE GUYS ARE ROBBERS.

the workshop service is too slow the workers spend their time walking slowly and drinking coffee while they analyze the change of a wheel, they take so long that it seems like they are changing the engine, how is it possible that my wife comes to change a wheel with the car on and it turns out that the battery is damaged, the excuse was that the car arrived like that when she was driving it, that is, something is happening inside due to their inefficiency and lack of professionalism, and they blame her for that, if she only went to change a wheel, inefficient and very slow, they are not trained for what they are and even less effective, the company loses a lot of money hiring people like that.

I had a coupon for an oil change that included tire rotation and a wiper blade replacement. I asked the advisor, and he confirmed all services would be completed. However, after they finished the oil change, they charged me $67 plus tax, and an extra $2 because I paid by credit card. Disappointed, I found out they didn't do the tire rotation, so I asked the advisor again. He made an excuse about my tire. This was very unprofessional. I advise everyone not to trust the coupons they give and, if you want tire rotation, to mark your car tier somehow so you can check if they perform it not.

I recently moved into the area and this was my first time at Garden State Honda. It was one of, if not the best experience I’ve had at a dealership for service. Walter was my service rep, he was very kind and thorough. I came in for an oil change and he was able to do my recall as well despite the scheduling app saying it couldn’t be done until late October. The recall takes a few hours so they were able to provide me with a ride home, and once it was done they picked me up and brought me back to the service center. The overall experience was great and Walter was amazing, highly recommend them!

I want to thank Justin Medina at Honda. I had excellent service. Justin was very polite and knowledgeable. He listened to my explanation in what I was feeling in the car and all the sounds and what I said the vehicle was doing that it didn’t normally do.
Justin has great patience because I had allot to say. I was just worried and I needed the vehicle safe and right because I had to travel unexpectedly. I didn’t have an appointment but they still squeezed me in because I had a family emergency to get to.
I was provided shuttle service to my destination while the vehicle was checked. This was greatly appreciated.
Justin called me after the vehicle was check to go over all the issues found. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. Fixing your vehicle is supper expensive. There were less issues than I thought. The vehicle was fixed and ready to go by the end of the day. I trust that when I call Justin at Garden State Honda my vehicle will be in good hands.

Whenever I book at appointment I am helped promptly with good service. Pricing is reasonable but the team is great to work with. Andrew has taken care of me and I’ll continue to keep my car in top shape here.

Bro I went in for a oil change first thing 7:30 am, they took 2 and a half hrs multi point checkpoints the whole 9... 3 days later Im on the highway I hear a clank and a crash and then metal being dragged the tray that protects the oil pan fell and was dragging on the highway
