Jersey Moving Pros are the worst movers. My move to Florida from NJ took 23 days after they picked up my furniture. I had a very valuable lladro figurine that was never delivered. Many boxes and items were missing. I agree with other reviewers that they reserve a negative star review. Don't let them talk you into hiring them, you will be sorry if you do.

This review is lengthy, but please read it, especially if you’re making a long distance move, but you are not a New Jersey resident! I have moved across the state line 5 times using North American Van Lines, this review is about the mistake I made by not contracting North American Van Lines for my April 20 Pennsylvania to Florida move. Thinking back, I made my first mistake by logging onto Home Advisor to find a moving company. My second mistake was when I hired Moving Pro, in Passaic, NJ without contacting North American Van Lines to get their estimate first.The First issue with Moving Pro that made me very angry, was of course the charges. My binding costs went from $2300-$3600, Because Moving Pro in Passaic, NJ does not do in home (on-site) estimates-they tried to estimate your household size by square feet using the telephone!The Second issue with Moving Pro that made me very angry, was the delivery time. My pick up day was April 20 in the Philadelphia suburbs, my delivery date was May 3 to the Orlando suburbs. The agent from Moving Pro stated the move and could contractually take 14 business days, but he stated “they usually deliver in 3 to 5 days.” Accepting this information was my third mistake, you count the days-it’s 13 and that’s a long time to wait, renting a hotel room!The Third issue with Moving Pro that made me very angry is the middleman, although I don’t know who that was. The contents of my house were picked up by three courteous and professional moving men. The contents of my home where delivered by two men and one woman, also very courteous and professional. But the middleman are the people that transferred my goods from the box truck that picked up, to the semi trailer that delivered. As I said in the beginning of this review, I have had five moves across the state line with North American Van Lines-NEVER have I had as many damages as I have Experienced with Moving Pro in Passaic, NJ!!!! Yes, I will be filing damages. I think one star is overrated!

They are now located in Pennsylvania and closed up shop in New Jersey due to the traffic of lawsuits, they are carpetbaggers and known Convicted several times felons , you will have to pay 10 times what they told you or you will never see your stuff again ... they will just try to blackmail you and they do not have any intention of delivering your items. I booked Coast2coast movers from Richmond Virginia and also nationwide, I got the 29-year-old Multifelon with a hertz Penske truck and lawsuits all over the place and lost everything. I don't pay ransom. I don't negotiate with terrorists, all I can do now is warn you

NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Recently I have used their service. At the beginning, I talked to the customer service on the phone and he guaranteed no additional fees will be charged unless there are extra items that are not listed on the inventory listing, and guess what? It ended up charging me $350 for stairs fee, $400 for shuttle truck while I asked him twice about this and he said there will be no shuttle truck fee. This company is a SCAM!!! You would end up paying $1000 additional fee, just ignore what they promised at the beginning on the phone, they just want to get you in, signed the moving agreement then steal money from you. Don’t fall into this trap!!Service: Interstate moving

I called this company when I needed to relocate, and they were fast, polite, and fairly priced. Their customer service was always excellent. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who has to move.

They stole over $10000 worth of belongings and were only willing to pay me $50 for it. They also added charges for things like “an extra 10 feet” to walk and extra flights of stairs. They also are unresponsive and did not answer my calls regarding the missing items. They were also late to pick up my belongings and 3 days late to deliver them. The movers themselves were nice, but the company themselves are a mess.

My stuff was a month and a half late. One of my boxes was missing. My bookshelf was damaged. As we were waiting for my stuff we would make phone calls and probably 70 percent of the calls were either unanswered or transferred to a department that didn't answer.

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!!his company is a SCAM!!!!, I hired them to move my things from WV to IL, 2 months ahead, they did show up the day my things needed to be picked up, so I had to rent a u-haul truck to get my things out of the house, and wait another day for the moving to show up, which by the way is a subcontracted moving company.They will give a quote and then once they got you hooked they will start charging more and more things.STAY AWAY FROM THEM, YOU'LL HAVE THE WORST TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!!Service: Out-of-county removals

The lady who does the inventory Adrienne was very unprofessional this company is lucky I had no choice but to give at least a star. I was charged 1330. Cool ok. During inventory I was charged another 800 dollars. When the movers came it was horrible first of all one of them came in FLIP FLOPS the older man sat in the truck for 85% of the time and the man that was “in charge” kept acting like he didn’t understand English. I was told the movers would be at my apartment by 12pm they showed up 4 hours late. After we did inventory AGAIN I was charged another 1,100 dollars ON TOP of having to throw away my sectional couch because they claimed they couldn’t get it out the door, I threw away my king size bed my sons full size bed and my daughters twin size bed because they did not have any tools to take the beds apart. Mind you all these things where in my initial inventory. I lost over 3,000 dollars in furniture and the guy who was in “charge” wouldn’t compensate for any of it. No price reduction no anything! They took nothing but boxes. I was charged for 5 dressers but I had 2 dressers and a nightstand. He told me and my husband he would give us 30 minutes to get the couch out the house and he will take it if we can get it out smh. The whole time the men spoke Spanish I’m assuming they had a lot to say about us. They took the pillows to the couch and the draws to my daughters bed then wouldn’t take them off the truck. Told my husband to get on the truck and take them off. I thought that is what we paid them for now I’ll be in Florida with pillows but no couch and draws but no bed!! 3800 dollars later and I have barley any of my things that I worked very hard for. Then when they finally delivered my things after 32 days the man threatened to throw away my things because the truck did not fit into the storage driveway. Josh was the worst representative ever super unprofessional and very rude. After that mess I had to pay extra money to move to a bigger storage unit because it was outside. So now I’m paying extra for a unit I do not need. I have not been to the storage yet I hope and pray none of my things are broken or missing. Worst experience ever. I would never recommend anyone to this company. This company should be ashamed of themselves and should really reconsider the people they hire. Save your money and avoid the hassle moving out of state is already stressful these guys just made it way worse.

Absolute worst service. Gave us a quote and then charged another amount upon first call. Arrived 4 hours later than stated and said we needed to pay another $800!!! Went from a $2400 estimate to $3900!!! For a one bedroom apartment...absolute worst company. Was stuck with them unfortunately because we paid them a $1699 deposit which was non refundable. Sick over this

Aweful aweful...took over 2 months to get my stuff in my great grandmother's hutch was broke...no body would answer my calls when I tried to call about my belongings...ugh....
