Horrible service. Now even if you are in the middle of your shopping trip and need the restroom...guess what, you can not use it until you pay.I wish there was a way to leave a negative star, as this store does not deserve the one minimum.

I deliver to Home Depot all the time just not this one yet but I found myself in a jam and needed to park my semi in the parking lot for the night, mind you there was plenty of parking spaces. So I did the right thing and went in and asked if I could park here for the night, the manager said she couldn't authorize that. I said "ok" and waited around for a bit trying to look for a place I can park for the night but I noticed all these people out here just hanging out. Some looking for work others looking for drugs. The placed looked like a street corner in the hood. They even put porta pottys in this parking lot for these people and even a portable hand washing thing. My point here is I'm here making an honest living working hard and away from my family for days at a time and they won't even let me sleep in my tractor trailer on their parking lot for one night but they'll let all these people out here hanging out all day not doing nothing and some even drinking beer. Don't make any sense.

To whom it may concern, I am a contractor and over the past month, my company, I Got A Guy LLC, has become the lead contractor for a large real estate and property management firm. In the past month alone, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars on materials to rehab multiple properties on their behalf. I find myself or one of my employees at one of your locations at least once a day pushing around multiple shopping carts at all times of the day, as I also have other clients and manage multiple projects at all times. Well, this past Sunday, the morning of September 5th, 2022, I spent over four hours of my time in your Passaic NJ LOCATION, which was my only day off, and decided to make this trip to Home Depot cause I had scheduled my crew to work the following day and needed the material. Mind you it’s is Labor Day, and I’m paying my guys over time to work so time is valuable. The total in my multiple carts equated to well over five thousand dollars worth of products. The pro desk was closed by the time I was ready to pay, so I went to the customer service desk to make my purchase. The pleasant girl at the register informed me I wouldn’t be able to make by purchase because of the pro desk being closed. I told her I have run into this situation before when I have visited other stores past six at night, and all she had to do is call the manager for approval. I’ve run into this situation more than once and have never had an issue, which is why I continue to come back to Home Depot for all my contracting materials and always highly recommend your store to customers. Unfortunately, in this situation, a disrespectful, seemingly lazy manager named Joe took his an inordinate amount of time to come up to the desk. Once there, he didn’t even bother to ask how large the purchase was or try to make the situation any better. He seemed in a hurry to get back to his personal business. I proceeded to ask him if he would seriously like to lose the purchase of over 5 thousand dollars, as well as the money for the 40 gallons of paint mixed to a specific color, and have to pay some one to return 7 shopping carts of material back on your shelves. Joe, the manager, didn’t seem to care what-so-ever, and told me I should leave the store after I rightfully started to become upset. With all of this said, I am regretful in saying that I will no longer be shopping at your any of your locations and will take my business to Lowes. Sincerely, Peter Kardasis I Got A Guy LLC

So i placed an order today and Naomi was the lady i dealt with at Customer Service. I have never experienced such a wonderful and pleasant customer service like I received today. I wish every employee was so wonderful. Naomi had a big smile on her face, was pleasant, graceful and extremely kind and thoughtful! Thank you Naomi for making my visit so pleasant and quick! RENTER BEWARE. TAKE PHOTOS OF VEHICLE BEFORE LEAVING. Check out by ksx2113. Rented a Van. Did walk around with representative. Upon return representative tried to charge me for a plastic piece missing off the mirror. Sediment and dirty was build up where piece was missing. On today’s dry day. Dry roads. It’s impossible I knocked off the piece. I DIDNT. Upon calling a second representative that confirmed it was knocked off in a prior rental. I was not charged. Not without a fight. TAKE PHOTOS. So this doesn’t happen to you.

I bought a generator at Home Depot today the store manager Frank walk me up to the Register. When I asked the head Indian lady cashier for help to put the generator into my van 3 times do to it being to heavy I was made to wait in the parking lot for a half hour and nobody came. I had to ask one of the customers to put my generator into my van. The last 4 times I was at this store I asked somebody different to get me a Excord of the top self and they walked away and never came back with a fork left. The lazy people work at this store. When I get feed up I just place my order on line and let them bring the cords to my house for me.

Horrible customer service. The employees are standing around joking and laughing meanwhile I had to go into the store for a curbside because they neglected to respond. Another employee walking up to customer service ended helping me and found the order just sitting there. Then none of them wanted to work to put it in my car. And were absolutely rude because I troubled them to do their job. Don't bother coming to this HD, it's not worth it. Employees are useless. What's the point of curbside when you have to go inside??? On top of it, none of them were wearing their masks correctly, another what's the point?!

Getting the house ready for the holidays. Needed to find a Home Depot that is open on Sunday's. Bergen County, Home Depot's are closed on Sunday. Found a Home Depot in Passaic, NJ. For the life of me, I do not know why this great store has a 2 star rating. My review honest review hopefully will hopefully help change the narrative that has been very consistent, 5 star and above level of service. All of the store personnel are very friendly, any questions you have, they are more than willing to help. Needed last minute items from the paint department. Every time I have questions or help with painting, spackling, etc, Daniel L., in the paint department has been absolutely amazing. I give Daniel L 10 Stars, in the Paint Department. Always available, and goes out of his way to assist all customers that need assistance. Every Home Depot employee that I have asked where certain things are, have always been super fantastic. Needed assistance that did not pertain to Returns. Special thank you to "Nilsa", another outstanding employee that went out of her way to go the extra mile. It's people like this that keeps me coming back. Love this store better than the Lodi store.

I wish I could give this Home Depot 10 stars. My husband & I visited the Clifton, NJ location a few times before stopping by the Passaic,NJ location & I wish we would've came here from the start. The service was exceptional from beginning to literally the end. Starting with Yusef (I hope I'm spelling his name right) who assisted us in the Lumber dept although it wasn't his dept. he was so patient & assisted us with every question without hesitation. We then stopped by the paint section & although we did t get the associates name, he was so nice & directed us to exactly what we needed. Finally, at check out, Josh was such a joyous associate who greeted us & assisted us with the most beautiful vibe. Literally the BEST customer experienced I have ever experienced. Thank You !

After a purchase with a Dewalt impact gun, 10 days later that went bad to see what the 2 yr warranty covered, I called for a 15 wait time of just ringing and ringing (maybe a 5 minute wait time-elevator-music and then just ringing consecutively, that's right, I stuck it out) i asked and the lady who answered told me it covers the 1 year with the store and 1 year manufacturer and I said okay I just need to- *click*... hence this review...

I ordered through curbside pick up and my experience was terrible and unsafe. After waiting too long in my car I decided I go into customer service - the other place designated for pick up. The line was long because it is the same as for returns. Minimal social distancing especially by the store workers. Worse, many workers were wearing their masks below their nose or mouth including the one who helped me. And the merchandise was not ready- I had to wait for someone to go into the store to get it. Stay away from this one!

@HDCares Today I was in the Passaic, NJ attempting to purchase an item that was on the shelf. When I was told that I couldn't. If it's on the shelf should I not be able to buy it? Is it the consumers fault? This wasn't a recall issue but a corporate attempt at relocating the item. Very upset and offended at how the cashier handled the situation.
