“This is one of my favorite stores of all time so on a personal note I'm in a good mood when I walk in here to begin with. Think of Harbor Freight as the "affordable alternative" to that Depot chain some are familiar with. The deals that they have at this store never cease to amaze me and I find that I rarely can walk out of the store without purchasing something that I may or may not even need because I just don't have it. Can you get things here that you can get at other stores? Absolutely. Are you going to be these prices? A snowball's chance in hell is greater than you finding a better deal somewhere else. This, you can take to the BANK, and considering all the savings, you actually WILL!”

“Fairmount Hardware is a neighborhood institution, with good reason. Dave, the owner, goes out of his way to help non-professionals with their projects, large and small. He wired a lamp for me, he also cut glass to put in a frame I had, saving me the expense of having a framer do it.
I think he tries to impart to the young people he hires to work in the hardware store as much of his wisdom as possible. Yesterday, he instructed a young trainee as to how to remove a bit of rust on a porcelain plaque I brought in.
Today, another trainee made a great suggestion as to how I might attach the plaque to a Target basket with wingbolt nuts and butterfly screws, rather than the furniture nails I’d bought the day before.
The clerk at the cash register gave me a credit for the unused furniture nails I had bought the day before and deducted the cost of the two wingbolt nut and screws —you cannot get better service than that anywhere.

“Hills hardware is more than a hardware store. Leno and Heather create a universal atmosphere. No matter if your a carpenter with 40years experience or a person looking to hang some picture frames in your home. They are quick with the necessary supplies and a helpful tip if you need it; to get the job done proper. You need something not in the store they can get it in on the next shipment. I stop here before anywhere to get my supplies. Feels like home. Most certainly go check them out.”
“To start- I live in west philly. I drive to this hardware store because they are so sweet and accommodating every time I go. They try to speak to people who only speak Spanish in Spanish. He spent a goodly amount of time on Saturday trying to figure out how to fix a broken soap dispenser (purchased elsewhere) we had brought in. Even though he couldn't get it to work (and we ended up buying a new one from his store), we were impressed with his determination to help us. “Great Rental Service. I rented two machines from Diamond Tool- A 60 foot boom lift then later a 32 ft scissor lift. Both machines worked great and got the job done safely and efficiently. No hidden fees and the sales staff are very friendly and reasonable. Pick Diamond Tool over the other big chain rental companies! I worked with Rob and the salesman CJ and they were great!”

“The place was organized the store was well lit the staff was fast n helpful. They had what i needed and knew how to locate the item swiftly. The prices where ok. The parking seem to be my only problem. I had to park in a bus only zone and run in and out wich with the stores help I was in and out but there's no parking only on the side streets wich are always packed. All in all the experience here was ok no hassles waits or worries.”
