Honest review. I found this dealership while looking for a used SUV and made an appointment with Isaac. When we arrived, the place was messy outside but straightforward. The vehicle we came for was pulled up to the front and freshly cleaned & wiped down which was nice. Isaac & Shane were friendly and the place was busy which was reassuring. We gave it a once over and walked around to see the other options on the lot. The one we were interested in was one of the better by far with only a few issues.
During the test drive Isaac pointed out the front end clunking (which we noticed but waited to see if he would address) and assured us they would cover to fix through one of their service center contacts. He printed out the CarFax for us to look over while we were waiting for him to complete paperwork for another customer. His pleasant attitude and willingness to make everything right made us feel comfortable with going through with the purchase.
We negotiated a fair price paid in full and complete paperwork within an hour or so, and have been happy with it so far with no additional issues (purchased 2/22). The only thing they didn’t offer were tags, only title transfer & temp registration was included in the $800-ish fees. BUT as long as they follow up with us to make the service appt to fix the items outlined in our warranty contract, and we receive our title in a timely manner we have no complaints.
3/11 update- Still trying to have items agreed upon fixed. We played phone tag for a week before I could get an answer on where they would cover the expense with. I called that shop today because I finally have time and someone to help with drop-off this week since I live an hour away, and they don't offer the repairs needed. Also, Isaac said when we last spoke on 2/28 that he would find out from the Title Clerk when I could expect it, and I have yet to hear from them. Time to play phone tag again...

I recently purchased a vehicle from your dealership, and unfortunately, it broke down on the highway shortly after. I contacted the salesperson, Isaac, to inquire about potential solutions, but he responded in an unprofessional manner, advising me to seek assistance elsewhere. I am disappointed with the level of service provided and would like to express my dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

Please beware of this dealership for misrepresenting cars, I purchased a BMW for around $8300 from Isaac a scammer salesman who advise me the vehicle was in great condition and was just inspected. I took it for a test drive, car drove smooth so I made the purchase only to be my worst nightmare. I drove the car for one day before the fuel pump went, I call Isaac and was advise to bring the car back I explained to him the car drives a bit then cuts off and that I just pay him $8300 he should have it towed, he told he I was responsible to pay a tow for my car to get back to the shop to be fix. I thinking the car should have already been fix before purchase, which he had advise the car was in great condition. Luckily the car made it to shop before cutting off again, only for Isaac to take almost 3 days to fix. A few weeks later I begin to experience more issues, by this time I only drove the car about 1500 miles and took it back to dealership when my check engine light came on, Isaac put on code reader in Spanish and told me these were the code to fix the problem as if i didn’t just purchase this vehicle and told me he was not fixing issue, I left did some research on the code that pop up it was my turbo a bad waste gate and a few other related codes total price $2300 when the mechanic showed me all the parts of the car the dealership damage, they super glued parts together, most of my holes were bad and have glue all over them and the top part of the engine was sprayed with tire spray to appear more clean. There are all kinds of issues with this car this by far has been my worst car purchase ever, people please stay aware from this place you regret your purchase and they will not take responsibility not even the owner who you will never speak to, once you give them your hard earned money they will play in your face, I am now seeking legal action to hold the owner accountable for misrepresenting vehicle for purchase and will inform consumer car fraud to investigate, and contact BBB for doing shady business . In my opinion most of these comments are false based on the names provided, and the unbelievable experiences.
Updated Notice!!! So after the last posted, I was still having issues this time electrical issues with my car. This time it was the wiring, they were damaged causing the brake system to engage, that cost a few thousands to repair. I came here to inform potential buyers of the kind of vehicles Issac sales to people and no regards taking your hard earn money. Please do not buy from this place you will regret your decision and will pay greatly. I truly don’t want this to happen to another human being it’s devastating to spent a large amount for a car and then found out majors mechanical issues that not even a mechanic will see right away at first glimpse. Issac crew know how to make a car work with tape and glue just hit one bump and you’ll find out all the problems with the car. Just stay away from this place at all cost and save your money, there are others dealership around just be patience, there is nothing on that lot worry of purchase I promise you.
Update Notice!!! Please do not believe the comments that mention Issac is a honest person, it’s a lie and made up he will do anything to take your money, even falsified comments. Well I’m here to make SURE what happened to me and the amount of money I spent doesn’t happen to another person. Please take my word and not just some scamming salesmen at a car dealership name Issac with cubic zirconias. I heard they have a second location in Philly, as soon as I find it I will post that as well. When you do bad you get bad, and it’s seems like karma is catching up quickly, and by the newest comment Issac will do anything to redeem his credibility <unbelievable> It will not work. I got a vehicle for $10,700 cash Worst place ever to buy a vehicle they lie to you about the warranty. They say they’re gonna get back to you they never get back to you. They never sent my title out over a month later where my plates expired very shady practicing would not recommend getting a vehicle there. They Should be shut down and I never write a reviews had to that place is that shady so I wrote this review A little bit ago, the owner gets a hold of me and says he’s going to rectify the situation speaks to me. Tell me he would get back to me and never got back to me. Tried to get hold of him over and over. Do not purchase a thing from this place, it is a scam business. I bought a car from them that was totalled within a year because they replaced some important parts and forgot to screw them back in properly, so it fell while driving and was damaged. There were several issues they wouldve known with the car that ethically they clearly should've made clear but didnt. A friend of mine had a similar experience where they purchased a car and when they had it looked at they found under the hood it was literally duct taped back together and had several major issues. Unfortunately I didn't find out about this until after I purchased the car.
Aside from the ending of the experience the purchasing experience itself was just strange. I purchased from a man named Mark who was nice enough but the whole purchase felt off. I came in knowing which car I was interested in so we went for a test ride and everything was fine but when we went to arrange payment that is where the weirdness started. He told me if I paid via card there would be an extra fee so I went to the nearest bank and grabbed cash. When I returned he had us walk back to the car so he could show me something then when we were in the car he said "pay me here I don't trust the lady in there" (referring to one of their employees) and then still charged me that fee.

Spoke with Shane who said the vehicle I was interested in was available, had no reported accidents and a clean title. Went to see it and it was in nice shape, a few minor cosmetic flaws, but a good value for the condition. My customer(I'm also in the used car business) bought the car upon my recommendation after a test drive. Shane accepted our offer and threw in a 90 day power train warranty and a transit tag for Delaware, which gives us 30 days to register there. I would highly recommend Shane and American. Their prices are fair from the start, have a good selection, willing to work with you, eager to make a sale, no high pressure!

Bought a 2010 Honda accord from Shane and the experience was perfect. He’s quick and legit, won’t have you in the shop all day, and the car is as good as new. No issues and was very clean

One of the easiest and best buying experiences I’ve had in my life. Everyone is super kind, super pleasant and my car is very reliable. Any questions or concerns I had about anything Issac was on it and had every answer. If you’re looking for a nice reliable car this is definitely the place to go to !
