Most places are mass-produced imitations with sales people who don't know even one thing except what the label says.Interesting fact!difference between CARPET and RUG.Oh excuse me, area rug?!should not be called oriental rugs since its ORIGINS are ANCIENT PERSIAN modern-day Iran.They even had an artistic re-creation of the very first one that was found in Siberia. I forgot how many thousands of years ago that was created. Of course that one is a fragment and is in a museum for billions of dollars of value??As I was waiting the curator of Philadelphia museum of Art's was there too. Either he was picking up something or you just getting tips on how to manage their inventory in the museum. I thought that was!”
