This was my first time trying this place, and it was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Order on door dash 11$ they gave a 6 inch chop cheese half the size of regular hoagie roll then didn't even get my fries they usually good but this time was terrible smh

I contacted this store the evening before an event at work that was scheduled for 11:30am and I’m so glad I did! I ordered 2 dozen pastelillos and they did not disappoint! They were freshly made and were a huge hit at the event. The staff loved the salmon and beef pastelillos, we also had chicken and cheese that were amazing! I had people asking where can they purchase for their events. Thank you for your great service and amazing food. The Medical Team at Jefferson loved it!!

Good small store in the pennsauken area ,actually great for the township, but what gets me is the store cat. I'm sorry but no pets should be in the business especially while serving hot/cold food. Kind of disgusting when making a purchase, the cat is laying in the counter. Just advice for the business owner . Have a great day

As long as I lived around this store. I've never been there. 1 day I was hungry and I wanted breakfast and I decided to try them and when I tell you. They have a dedicated customer now. I do not know the lady's name who cooks in the back. But she is ? ever since I had her breakfast every chance I get, I try to make it there to get my breakfast now lol. Those pancakes are nice, buttery and fluffy like I like them. My eggs are always done the way that I asked them to be and let's not get on the bacon very good, tasty to the crisp.I will definitely always go here for my breakfast. Looking at the other reviews I need to try their lunch and dinner too ?

Nice food, I asked for delivery and the food arrived steamy hot to my place. The wings are a bit spicy eve though you don’t buy them spicy. I really love it. And because they are fried with no flower or bread they are a bit dry so definitely ask for sauce. 10/10 for me.

Nice store but won’t be ordering food from here again they had a cat climbing all over the counters and where food is kept so unsanitary I just threw my platter in the trash

I had a bad review about 2 months ago but they have improved so much so I had to come back and change my review. The young lady who I believe is co-owner is EXCELLENT. She always has a smile welcoming her customers in and accommodating us. The young man and woman that cook the food in the back most days are always respectful. It’s one darker skinned lady cook that needs some customer service training, she never smiles and one day I was just trying to get my food and she had a heart attack because I left my food ticket in the car, but she isn’t the worst. The food is good most days, a few days I’ve definitely gotten old rice since it was really hard to chew. But overall I feel so much better about this small business and I’m glad I didn’t give up on them, hopefully it stays this good.

The Bodega 856 is a great family owned and run store! We ordered a shrimp platter, cheeseburger fries, pastelillos and cheese steak. The food was so delicious! The fries were crispy. Great portions and clean store. They're so friendly and nice! I'd say the best Bodega in town! Stop in anytime or call ahead order your food for a quick pick up! Open until 10 most of the week! They also serve breakfast!
