I love this store, quality items definitely and at a fantastic price too. One of my husband's favorite WWE wrestlers just passed, and a year ago, I had gotten him one of the guys' action figure somewhere else. But we recently went here and found 2 others that were different and one of them isn't even made anymore so that was a huge bonus find for him.

Beware of T&M Trucking who delivers furniture for Big Lots:This place is a scam!!!! I purchased a couch($1600) through Big Lots in Phillipsburg,NJ. Paul set it up for me, he suggested i use these guys, which i thought was very kind of him at the time. He got it all set up, couch coming on sunday, delivery fee 110.00. No problem. He gave me my receipt for the couch, and T&M business card. Next step was just wait for them to call with a time.They called with time 3pm-6.They came at 6.My elderly mom and son were here for delivery as i had gotten called in to work in hospital. This happened extremely fast, The delivery men could not get my couch through door, they did not try taking my door off, did not try unwrapping furniture or even ask about another entry. My son and mom were trying to call me, but my phone was in "airplane mode" .... it was when I had a moment to call and found out all of this and caught them before they left..they would not give any of the $110 back, would not try other ways to fit couch, they just said this is the policy, hung up on me and drove away from my house.**I received a call when they were on the way to my home, after that phone call, my phone acted strange and went into airplane mode. My mother and son were not able to reach me during this time they were trying to call me. I REALIZED my phone WASN'T WORKING as all this was going on.***** I was fully taken advantage of and manipulated and so were my 15 year old son and my elderly mother!!When I called the office of T&M, Tiffany was rude, she would not give me the owner/manager phone number, the owner Harry then called me, he talked to me as though I was at fault!!! HE said "THIS is WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE DON'T TAKE CORRECT MEASUREMENTS". He would NOT let me say anything and just took Tiffany's word that i was irate, angry and upset and DISREGARDED ANYTHING i TRIED TO SAY and did not CARE OR have any CONCERNS, about consumer/customer needs, satisfaction. I WANTED and ASKED for HALF my delivery fee back and was told "NOPE NOT GONNA HAPPEN"!!!! He offered to come in a few days when he is back from vacation, "SO I CAN SEE TH COUCH DOESN'T FIT through my door", OR "A DISCOUNT Trucking A DISCOUNT ON A NEXT DELIVERY!!! AND I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY NOR WOULD I REFER THEM TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!***UPDATE***WENT BACK NEXT DAY ...REPURCHASED SAME COUCH MADE 2 TRIPS WITH MY FRIEND AND HIS TRUCK AND GOT THE COUCH I WANTED ...JUST HAD TO TAKE MY FRONT DOOR OFF TO GET IT IN!!!

Store is brand new. Not very well laid out. Full of a bunch of useless stuff. Lots of kitchenware, bath needs, furniture, some food, some clothing, some garden items. You could probably get the same items at the dollar store for cheaper.

I just want everyone out there to know if you ever need anything at this store. See Paul. He was the most amazing salesman in the furniture department this evening. He went above and beyond what any other furniture company would do. This is a great location. Lots of other shopping in the area but this is a great go to store. Also, I had the pleasure of dealing with Matthew the night before. He was just as nice and pleasant. But Paul just takes the cake on customer service

We have been searching quite some time for the perfect seating in our living room. Last weekend we walked into a Big Lots near where we live and saw a floor model of a gorgeous day bed at a reasonable price. It was late and the furniture department was closed so we went home and did some research online. The next day my wife called around and was able to locate the same bed at this Big Lots location about 30 mins away from our home. She was helped by a man named Paul who went above and beyond to put aside a unit for us, label it as reserved and exchange numbers so we could contact him if we needed anything. Last night I had a thought to give a call to our local Big Lots one last time as it is less than 10 mins away and would have been easier to haul a bed home from. This morning upon calling a man was nice enough to go look and did find 1 remaining bed of this model in stock. He put my name on it and I told him I'd be down in a few hours with my friend and his truck. A few hours later we did arrive only to be greeted as "those people picking up the daybed with no hardware". No hardware?! No one on the phone bothered to tell us that. Had they found out after the fact no one bothered to call us back. A man wearing all camo apologized for the other employees mistake however there was nothing more he could do. Now my friend was on his way to the wrong store and would have to reroute to the one that is further away. This lead our journey back to Phillipsburg. Upon arrival we were greeted by Paul who knew exactly who we were. In fact, quite a few employees knew of us and the day bed that was being saved. It instantly made us feel cared about and a little more than your average customer. Paul was warm, welcoming and positive to an infectious degree. We had a nice chat as we paid for the bed and he found an employee to assist us in loading the bed (Collin, whom was also very pleasant and had cool boots!). Paul then took us to see our package as we waited for my friend to arrive and even helped us pick out the best mattress to go with the day bed. This was quite possibly the single best display of customer service I have ever personally experienced. We were made to feel not only like valued customers but as if we were close old friends. As someone who has worked in many various fields of customer service over the last 15 years I can gladly say this crew and this store does things right. Truly an incredible turn around from what was looking to be an awful outcome at the other store. Thank you so much again for all of your help. We will remember you as we enjoy our beautiful new daybed.

Ever since they moved to the new location we cannot find any bargains. I decided to give them another chance but found their prices as much as regular stores or higher.

Big lots has a good variety of items and the prices aren't too outrageous for most items. Great grocery section and the seasonal department is always on point.

Wendy the cashier was very helpful I had called to see if they had coke a cola calendars she took the time to go look and held it for me till got there she was nice to do that thank you.
