Every time I see that one of my packages made it to this office I immediately contact my customers to expect a delay. It happens every time. they sit here for days at a time. If I could specify to skip this post office I would in a heartbeat because it affects my business

Don’t go here to get passport photos or renewals done! The two people working are the most clueless and incompetent people I’ve ever met. I was denied a passport renewal when I had all my proper documents and was told my American passport didn’t work as proof of citizenship. MY AMERICAN PASSPORT. And to which the person responded, “She’s the passport person and I know what the website says.” I walked out…furious. And went to another post office with no issues and a few weeks later I got my new passport.

This post office has lost my mail, some of which was certified, and because of this, I had to go through a major negative impact in my life. They've lost titles, checks, and legal documents. And I pay hundreds of dollars a year for a PO Box.The worse part is, all of this important stuff gets scanned at the sorting center, and just never makes it to the box... this is how I know it's this specific location, and not the USPS in general. When you send a certified letter, and no one signs to receive it, it's supposed to come back to you. But mine don't, and when I ask about it, the veteran postal employees are very rude about it. The new ones are nice, but just don't know how to help.Basically, between the sorting center, and my box here, I'm certain whole bags of mail are just being thrown out. Probably just put of laziness. I've spoken to customer service and filed my complaints, and a USPS Inspector General who I wanted to launch an official investigation as to what's going on here.. but they just "talked to them", and it did get better for about a year or so. But still, about two months ago, I see a certified letter scanned from the sorting center, go there THE NEXT DAY to pick it up, and they tell me they don't know where it is. Disappeared into thin air, and some guy at the counter gave me attitude about it as icing on the cake. There's definitely some shady business going on here. But two stars because I'm an architectural designer and photographer, and this building and lot is AMAZING. Beautiful gothic arches, wonderful brickwork, etc.I will definitely be back to take some good shots to add to my portfolio. They almost don't deserve such a beautiful building. Hopefully I can purchase it one day, and make it my company's headquarters.

Changed my address and made sure everything was filled out properly with the clerk, they stamped it and all said there was zero issues yet all my mail is still going to my old address that I no longer have a key to the mailbox for.I can't change it online because I don't have a debit card in my name or I would just do that because Phillipsburg post office has done nothing but give me issues over the years! They told my mom today they no longer do the paper address change forms yet I just picked them up the day before her. It sounds like some of the employees don't know how to do their jobs.

4 times my credit card bill has been delivered to someone else. This always happens when a sub is on.They need to be trained to pay attention to the house numbers. They're too busy talking on their cell phone while they are walking around delivering the mail.

I requested mail hold while on vacation only to find out they are continually leaving my mail in the box at my house! Why have such a service if it's not going to be carried out as requested?!

To begin, it's one of the many pivotal focal points of PHILLIPSBURG, NJ! From outside to in, it's absolutely brilliant in design & architecture (you really have to see it in person to believe me)! The employees were energetic & friendly (even though this particuliar branch was rather busy).

This office is a total mess and is the definition of disgrace. The “OIC” his words not mine, Raymond Smith is the worst supervisor. The man stares at you blankly when you ask a question and just smuggly smiles and laughs at you before he decides to threaten the use of police on you. The Post Master is never there, on multiple occasions I have asked to speak to him and he’s not available. Does he ever work? I recommend going to Stewartsville they are amazing!

Their customer service has gotten worse over the course of time.I have lived in Phillipsburg for two years and first time I went to this specific location,I was taken back with their abruptness. Some staff either resigned and have been relocated to a different area and now,the ones that are left are very rude and unhelpful.

Miserable clerks make a miserable experience for literally no reason. Greet them with a smile and friendly tone and you will get attitude and accused of being rude. Literally no idea what I did to be treated that way. Luckily there was a 2nd clerk who apologized on their behalf.

missing gift cards over recent years and now returned mail because the sender forgot the "s" at the end of our street name. Unreal. People sending cards to our address now use UPS because several showed up neatly sliced open with the gift cards missing and I collected my mail before the little white truck was even out of sight because I was expecting the cards and saw the pictures of them in the USPS app. I get that you might not like your job, but either do it or take your pension and retire or quit.

5 stars for the beautiful historic building and the whole post office area. Very beautiful building. It's smaller comparing to Easton location.Very charming and antique looking inside and outside.I didn't interact with anyone, just dropped off the mail, so can't review customer service.Post office is open till 3 pm on Saturdays which is great. Easton open only till 12 pm on Saturdays.3 drop off boxes located outside.I just loved this place. So highly recommend to visit.I didn't take much pictures, the place was busy, didn't want to annoy people)))

My experience reminded me why I moved from this area long ago. Unfortunately my mother still lives here and utilizes this post office.ALL we needed was a form to hold mail. Two windows were open; both had lines which totally confused the patrons who were lined up almost out the door. I went to the first window to ask which line we should stand in (other people were asking the same question) to which I received a snippy response that this line was already in line prior and he (post office employee) was finishing up their requests. In other words they got OUT of line only to return while the other line waited at least half hour. Once the one patron in line was finished, she mumbled something rude to me. I asked if when she has a question that needs to be addressed if anyone harassed her. I asked if she thinks everything is about her? After being tongue lashed by the most ignorant woman, we waited another 15 minutes or so. Several patrons asked my aging mother if she needed a chair. There are still decent people in this world.A supervisor finally appeared asking why the line was so long. After listening to the female employee explain that she had just issued 4 passports the supervisor finally opened a third window. Dear lord above, please hire more employees. What a mess..
