Pretty impressed by the Piscataway location. It's clean, climate controlled and has a app to open the gate and doors. Also loved the customer service I received from Izzy. She explained everything and answered my questions clearly.

While the front desk is helpful and polite I must say that cubesmarts company policy’s as a whole are nothing short of robbery. I recently had a situation in which I was behind on my payment so I tried to make a payment however I wanted to split the month I was behind payed that day and make the current payment due as of that day(not behind, however they wanted both payments at once and if I don’t pay by tomorrow they put an additional 110 dollar charge on my account, and I’m sure other hidden charges as well that will be coming to release whatever bullshit and allow me to get my items and close the account. I simply don’t understand how instead of working with a customer and taking payments to bring account current you would rather add charges to either force people into giving up thier items or getting one extra payment of $110. Because I can say with certainty now that I will be getting my things out of there and you have lost a customer over that so just thought I would share to show people that when they slip up and fall behind on one payment after years of loyal payments how they treat you. Good luck if you choose to get a storage unit from this company.

Front office staff was great and made it very easy to move out. Hilda helped me during move out and was super helpful and nice. I would also like to shout out Izzy. She helped me with a different unit, the unit belonged to my mom who passed suddenly. It was difficult to keep up with payments so Izzy gave me instructions on how to bid on the unit during auction which I did and won. Move out was a grueling process, & this was all happening during a very difficult time. I wasn’t always pleasant with her but she was with me, and very patient on top of that. I will never forget how she handled things with grace during such a hard time for me. If management sees this, please be sure to recognize her. She went above and beyond when she absolutely didn’t have to.

Hilda was a godsend as we struggled with the stress of moving from out of state. She went above and beyond multiple times, and assisted us in every way she could. Hilda is what makes CubeSmart more than a storage facility.

Hilda is great. This is the second time I've rented a unit there and she made sure it was convenient for me. The facility is well priced compared to others in the area.

Facility (Piscataway) is very clean and they offer carts to help make it easier to move my stuff into the unit. I spoke with Hilda for my unit reservation, she is the kindest, friendliest person i have met in a very long time. Made me feel comfortable and was very helpful. Just all around great person. I would highly recommend this place just because of Hilda.

Today (7/24/2024), my wife and I visited the Cubesmart in Piscataway. NJ. We were greeted and attended to my Izzy and Hilda. They were professional in all sense of the word. They answered all of our questions, showed us the unit we were interested in, explained the pricing questions we had and they were just nice individuals.
