Really worst service ever. I went in there, making an appointment for my flat tire and I was sent back saying that they are just about an hour to go home. I was literally helpless. I went in there the next day on my appointment and on time. still I had to wait for three and half hour And I was already on my break from work. I was unfortunately forced to have a half day off which end up costing me a lot of money. I cannot believe that they took 3.5 hours to get just tire replaced with enough number of employees and no one before me in the queue , I also heard from other customers there who arrived after me, will have to wait for hours to get their car work done. I learned it hard way that I'm never gonna come back to Pep Boys again.

This is the worse place to take your car for service ! Incompetent staff! None professional when for tire replacement! They try to steal a tire plus pay for wheel alignmentThat they never did ! So disappointed

I went to Pep boys for replacing my car battery. I usually go to this location as it's closer to my home and is convenient. While installing the batteries Pep boys damaged my car wiring and the car started giving problems two days after the service. I went back and gave my car for checking. Pep boys called back saying my car wiring is damaged and needs replacement. They charged me $450 for new wiring. When I went for pickup I noticed the damaged wiring had fresh cuts and must have been caused when pep boys were replacing the batteries. I ended up paying about $700 for a $250 job as Pep boys caused this additional damage to my car. The pep boys kept on saying that the damage is done by me. Pep boys has lost me as a customer.Update 1/15/2024: my apologies for the low rating. The damage was indeed caused by the squirrel as I had this problem again. I have changed the rating and I apologize for my ignorance about the issue.

I had not a pleasant dealings with Pep boys at Stelton Road more than few times. The associates were not polite enough and have no customer service moto.

Avoid this shop at any cost. Took my vehicle for tire rotation. After 45 minutes of waiting, vehicle was returned as is. It looked like they didn't even take vehicle in the bay (shop). Untrustworthy employees and technicians. Avoid unless you want more problems with you vehicle.

I saw a promotion on-line for Black Friday. The deal was good so I booked my appointment. The gentleman at the register was welcoming. I did inform him that alone with 4 new tires I’d like them to take a look at my tire pressure light as it appears my TPMS may be bad and if so to replace it. I dropped my car off and received a call several hours later saying my car was done. When I arrived I was the only one in the store. I was there an HOUR! The gentleman at the register told me my total was over $1200. However, my order was for $849. He changed my order in the system for some reason and couldn’t get the pricing I originally had. It took an hr to fix. When it was all said and done I ended up paying $10 more than I was supposed to and my TPMS wasn’t fixed and the light was on. He offered no real courtesy, no free oil change, no coupon for future, nothing. I was late for an executive meeting. I don’t think I’ll go back again.

I am so disappointed and annoyed with Piscataway Pepboys. I got 4 new tires a little over a month ago. Upon driving it home, the TPMS light came on. I could tell that there was a sufficient amount of air in the tires so I drove to work and called Pepboys. I was told to bring my car back and it would be a quick fix. I brought my car back, drove back to Pennsylvania where I currently live for work, and the very next day the TPMS light came back on. I called and brought the car again when I could. This time, I left it overnight and asked them to change my oil while it was there. When I picked it up the following day, as I was walking out the door I said to the guy, "Damn, I should have asked you guys to check the breaks and rotors!" He assured me, "Oh don't worry they check EVERYTHING!" I'm not an idiot, I've had this car since 2014 and knew something was wrong with the breaks. Sure enough, the very next day driving to work the TPMS light came on again!!! I brought the car back the following weekend and when I dropped it off, I asked to please check the breaks and rotors. I got a call saying that I need new front breaks and rotors, AND rear shocks!!! I opted for them not to fix it. I picked up my car when they were done recalibrating the tires and went back to Pennsylvania. Upon driving to work today within the first half hour of my drive, THE TPMS LIGHT CAME ON YET AGAIN. I called Piscataway Pepboys and told them that it's on yet again! I asked if I could bring my car to a Pepboys in Pennsylvania to let them hopefully successfully fix this calibration problem. I will never patronize Piscataway Pepboys again as long as I can help it. I think it's unfair that I'm spending all of this time while they "fix" a problem that wasn't a problem until I spent almost $700 on new tires with them. I also don't appreciate being told, "Don't worry they check everything! Your breaks are good!" When they did not check my breaks and in fact told me that I need new breaks rotors and shocks. My safety is in their hands and they don't give a damn it seems like. I'm so disappointed.
