Bought expired product on 2/12/23 and didn't find out until I went home and opened it to eat two days later on 2/14/23. Tasted a little off so I took a look and found it expired. Threw away the rest of the bar, but I was keeping the wrapper and the receipt in my car to request a refund. Went in today 2/16/23, and the manager rolled her eyes at me and let me know the policy is to come back immediately come back to the store to return it when I notice a product is expired and she cannot offer a refund. Walked a worker over to the fridge where the rest of the product was kept and the whole box had expired on 10/22. Not sure why a reasonable expectation for this particular manager would be for me to keep an opened, half-eaten perishable food product for 2 days until I had time to return it or take 20 minutes out of my day to drive to and back from the store solely to make this return, but here we are! Either way 0/10 customer service for this whole transaction.

This Shop Rite is ok for a quick get something!! The parking lot is dangerous to even walk in! The produce is always rotted!! If I go to the prepared food and ask for something I am instructed to take the ice cold food instead of the fresh food made! Must be too much to do for the woman I ask to help me!! The salad bar is great if you want to wait two hours for set up!! Love Bound Brook Shop Rite!!!

Always clean and nice to shop in. I usually come 1st thing in the morning when they open or before they close. Both are when there is plenty stock shelves. I am not a fan of the self checkout so I always use a human teller. Amd NJ opted to be a no bag state and definitely not a fan of that. Always forgetting to bring bags in from the car. What a headache for me.. Change the law back please. There baking department at this location is always good. I always get the Apple pie. Haven't taste anything like it store brought. And Shoprite brand ice cream sandwiches are always hard to find and of course the best ice cream. My experience is always good at this location. It is clean and the people are helpful when ask for anything. Parking is always plentiful. And you will still see many customers wearing mask. Lottery closes at 8pm, I got there 8:40. So missed out.

This space needs a serious facelift. The aisle are small, I just realized it actually has a whole pharmacy in the cut and probably missing because it's overcrowded with stuff all over due to not having enough floor space. They have 4 self checkouts and only 2 were working. They may not be able to do much with expanding but they can sure update the interior. Definitely not my favorite ShopRite.

This ShopRite is terrible! It's slightly better though than the ShopRite in Old Bridge which is disgusting and has little variety! This store in particular though is still really bad, despite that they have a very good variety! The store is not huge, but it's not small either. The layout of this store is very confusing. You don't seem to really know where you're going, as the store is like a maze. Once you get in, you want to come out! The store had the most rotten produce I have ever seen. Mostly everything was moldy! The store is very crowded, and it was impossible to keep social distancing in this store! I really did not like this store! If you want a clean ShopRite, go to ShopRite of Spotswood, South Brunswick Parlin, East Brunswick, or Woodbridge. Much better locations than this one!

I used to like coming here but their produce has been awful my last two visits. During my last visit I needed to buy mint but unfortunately most of it was wilted. The time before that I wanted to buy avocados but they looked rotten. I won't be shopping here anymore because of their horrible produce.

Beware!!! The staff are friendly and the store clean. But the last two times I shopped there, some customers were not wearing masks and the store did not appear to be making any effort to enforce their own policy.

On March 28th I went to this market to pick up a few essentials. Upon entering the store I noticed the dispenser of clean wipes was empty. I told a worker who claimed there was one in the snack area. There was not and no one would go to replenish the empty container. The next thing I noticed was how congested the store was with shoppers and store employees in the aisles socializing and/or unloading pallets or boxes. It was impossible to respect social distancing. There were also no wipes at the self check out counter. After seeing this congestion throughout the store I put the few items I gathered and left. I called the store and spoke with someone named Carol who claimed she was a manager. She called me a liar when I told her about the wipes. She said she just got two wipes for herself. I corrected her that I never said the store never gave out wipes I said it was empty for the period of time I was in the store. Further, I said this store never had wipes at the self check out. Never! As it pertains to the congestion Carol said it was her decision how many people were in the store and that the Governers regulation did not require them to limit the number of people. I advised that I would think the store had a social responsibility that is being exhibited to other stores like Wegmans, Trader Joes, Whole Foods etc. She repeated this was HER decision and I should go there to shop. I have supported this store since it opened but I assure the Saker family I will never step foot in one of their stores again. I am using Yelp to report this as the Saker web site does not offer contact information. The behavior and lack of responsibility of the Piscataway store manager is both dangerous and disappointing.

My favorite grocery store. A bigger store mean's there is a better chance they have what you are looking for. Surly there is nothing to complain about at this store. They do a great job.

I have to commend Piscataway ShopRite and all the workers for the fantastic job they are doing during this pandemic. The store is clean the shelves are stocked and the workers are helpful, doing it all with a smile! I want you all to know just how much your customers value your service, especially during this troubled time. Thank You

I am sorry, I have been in many shop rites, but your last impression is that cashier up front. I always start bagging as the cashier is ringing up. The last time I was at this store, I started bagging, the cashier finished ringing and turned around to watch be bag. she didn't lift a finger till I asked her to bag the potatoes. Which she did do with a big huff. As I continued to bag, she continued to stand and just watch. I swear what a moron. I wouldn't want this girl representing my company.

I don't know why this place only has 3 stars.. This is by far the best supermarket around. Always in stock, always fresh, and always the best prices. The lines do get long, but I unusually go on weekends so that is why. Yes, the parking lot is not great, but that shouldn't take away from the store itself. 5 Stars for Pway Shoprite!

This place is decent, has everything you need but the set up is really weird to actually find what you want without asking. Staff is helpful though so I can't complain. It does get really crowded and hard to move around but guess it is in a popular location. 6/10. Would shop again.
