BEWARE…This company is a disgrace. Not only did they not complete their only task which was to institute our flood insurance in a timely manner and we got stuck with owing home owners insurance money for this lapse… but we are in a flood zone and required to have flood insurance. Had there been a flood over the 2 month lapse we would have lost everything. When I went to address this with the Vice President, Tyler Ardron he ignored my calls and texts and has not made right on his huge mistake.

I bought my first home in March, choosing Risk Reduction Plus for my homeowner's insurance was the only first-time homebuyer mistake I made. After closing on my home, the headache with insurance began and took almost 6 months to fix. The fix ended up being that I had to get a new insurance agent and company to represent me. My agent with Risk Reduction Plus failed to educate or inform me on the process, failed to provide critical documents and requests in a timely manner, and nearly caused my policy to get cancelled due to failing to notify me of an underwriting condition. Again, the situation was only fixed once I switched insurance agents, as in, they created a very big issue for me that I had to fix myself. I was very disappointed with the service since I knew Tyler Ardron and had referred other people to him. My agent was Trish McCarver, and I certainly do not recommend her or this company.

I was recommended by some friends who are realtors. I am a single mom whose property was recently included in a flood zone update. I was looking for flood insurance and all the quotes that I had been given up to that point were over $2000 yearly. More than I could afford. With this company I was given a quote of well under $1000. They were so helpful and very quick to respond. I appreciate the professionalism and also the fact that they found me a reasonable quote.
