This driver didn't respect the stop sign and used the right turn lane in a park to overtake vehicles. To continue breaking the rules, he didn't stop at the signal to check oncoming traffic on a busy road, and I have it on video; I'll send it to the police. These are the people who cause major accidents, and their companies don't monitor them.

This company has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with. We pay for trash collection twice a week, yet we’re lucky if it’s picked up twice a month. Our garbage sits outside for days, piling up and creating a disgusting mess and now, thanks to the constant overflow, we’ve started getting rats in our yard.
We’ve been calling every single week to report missed pickups, but nothing ever changes. The customer service representatives are rude, and the results are always the same, no follow-through, no accountability, and no improvement.
What’s most frustrating is that our payments are always processed on time, yet the service we’re paying for never seems to happen. It’s unbelievable that a company can so reliably take your money but fail so completely to deliver what was promised.
It’s disgusting, disappointing, and unacceptable that we’re left dealing with health hazards and rodents because of their negligence.

Horrible customer service. Signed up for residential service and still waiting almost a month for the toter. When they say one month free. It mean you'll get to wait one month for free before service start.
The lady on the customer call keep mention the welcome paper mention it'll take 15-20 days for new toter. No it doesn't. She was pretty rude and rush. Probably from having to deal with company shady tatics all day.
Not to mention my families in the area mention they miss a lot of pickup days. Just sign up with another company.

The men dont care about people's property. They throw the garbage cans all over and dont care if they damage anything.

I was a new customer and unfortunately I did not have the best experience with this company. In the span of the one month of service, our thrash was only picked up two times. Every time our thrash was not picked up, we reached out to customer service. We are confused because our neighbors with the same subscription as us got their garbage collected and we placed our totes similarly to theirs.
One of the times we reached out via email, the representative told us the driver didn’t see our tote at all, and we provided pictures from our camera with our tote placed in an area that is accessible and clearly visible for any driver to see - the representative said our thrash will be collected and she will notify the supervisor. No surprise, it was not picked up.
We eventually cancelled our subscription and they offered us a deal, but truthfully I don’t find this company reliable. Our thrash has piled up just as my disappointment has.

I share the same experience as Frank, Since spring pickup has been missed several times a month. I have called and sometimes they come and pickup. Today I called at 9am and was told someone would . Now 5pm and no show. I pay for 2 pick ups a wk and only use one but it should be checked every pick up date regardless.

We use Grand Sanitation for our residential pickup. We have found them to be a reliable company, providing good service. Customer service is good, their billing is consistent, and our trash is picked up regularly as it should be.

You might want to tell your driver who does the Jersey Ave. Scotch Plains route at 3:10 that it is illegal to make a right turn onto Maple Hill Rd. It is a school zone and they also need to slow the hell down as kids are literally just getting out of school. I tried calling but nobody answers your phones.

I am very unhappy with the service from Grand Sanitation. Since June, my trash has been skipped five different times. In the years I’ve had this service, I never had an issue before — but now all these problems have started.
I have called numerous times and each time I’m told someone will reach out to me to address my concerns, but no one has ever called me back. Most recently, I spoke with a representative named Latasha, and while I remained respectful and simply expressed my concerns, she became irritated and hung up on me. That was completely unprofessional.
I pay my bill, yet my service has not been consistent, and to make matters worse, my bill has somehow doubled since I first started service. I don’t want any problems, I just want the service I’m paying for. Very disappointed and frustrated with this company.

This company is a complete joke! They gave me a quote and when I decided to move forward, my old provider Waste Industries called them and told them not to take me as a customer. Instead of standing by their word, they actually called me back and said they’re “friends” with Waste Industries so they can’t take my business. I’ve never heard anything so unprofessional and shady. This says everything about the kind of company they are. What kind of company operates like this, zero integrity, zero professionalism. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Called on July 2, 2025 for a new garbage can due to the fact that my current one is destroyed by the automatic garbage disposal truck pickup claws. It is now over 1 month and still waiting I have called 3 times and got they are being delivered this week, then the delivery truck went on fire and now today they are waiting on delivery from the manufacturer. But they collect their money every month from us!!! Can the paying customer get the truth?
***update later that day a new garbage bin was delivered I would like to say thank you to whoever did their job in a professional manner!

RESPONSE TO LAME REPLY; YOUR DRIVER SEEN IT FLYING ALLLL OVER AND COULD HAVE CARED LESS! IT WAS EVERYWHERE. He KNEW. The bag of foam was in a see through net of some sorts in plain view. I have a dash cam video if you should like to see. DO BETTER

Signed up for their service since 3 months and still have not received a garbage bin. This is the worst service as I called them almost 10 times each time with a different commitment date and never received it. Still not received!!
