I recently had my taxes completed at the H&R Block in Plainsboro NJ store. Fred, my tax advisor, the the ultimate professional!!!!! He know all about the taxes and the proper way to fill out all the forms. He is very knowledgeable and professional when it comes to his clients and their taxes. He had their best interest in mind. He has been doing my taxes for the past 10 years and I would NEVER considered going to anybody else. Thank you, Fred.

My advisor doesn’t seem to understand what he was doing. There are so many errors that I caught when I reviewed these documents. I would have ended up paying some extra hundreds of dollars to both the IRS and H&R Block. On top of that, in the middle of my tax prep, my advisor was on a phone call with his realtor for more than ten minutes. And then there were some technical issues in their system that he could not file the return. I ended up sitting there for two hours seeing him ranting at the IT lady over the phone, who doesn’t solve the problem but kept kicking him around. I was told to pay for another visit to get my tax done. Overall a really bad experience. Would never go back to H&R block again, especially considering they charge $$$ for things that I could do better by myself on TurboTax.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They are unresponsive. After over 5 months of calling to find out where my returns are, I found out they never filed. The owner does not care and was making excuses. Not filing is considered malpractice. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. They were completely negligent. Kshama Jagdale left the country without notifying us and did not hand our account to another rep. They also lost all of our paperwork and we had to get everything to them again. Go somewhere else where they will actually do their job.

They are one of the best in the trade. Kshama, my tax consultant was super helpful and informative. She guided me through the process and made it very seamless. I'll definitely use theme next year and recommend Kshama anyday.

Excellent experience! Padmaja Vikas has been doing my taxes since 2016. She is friendly and an excellent professional. Although now I am leaving in MA, I still prefer to do my taxes with her in Plainsboro NJ. Being an expatriate, federal and state taxes are always a concern, but I trust Padmaja 100% with my taxes. Thank you for your great help and work!!

Last year, Mr. Lachman filed my taxes incorrectly, which caused me to receive a letter from the IRS that required me to pay back an overpayment with interest. I understand that mistakes happen, and that's what the "peace of mind" insurance is for. But what's unacceptable was the lack of follow-up afterward to process the claim to process my peace of mind claim. I contacted Lachman and H&R block when I received the letter from the IRS in August. I followed up again every month until I finally heard back from him in November. Once he got back, he wasn't much help when it came time to process my "Peace of mind" claim, and I had to call H&R block directly to process it then. The claim was rejected by H&R block, and my interest still needs to be paid back.
