Martini bar located inside the Crown hotel. The restaurant is on the mezzanine area. Today the service was slow. The waitress was new but her mentor did not do much to expedite things. The food was alright and typical of a bar menu.

They allowed me to book a reservation at 10:30 pm and when we got there on Valentine's Day! I called to figure out exactly, where it was on the Crown Plaza property as it was going to be our first date and time there. Finally, I reached someone after 5 mins and they stated the restaurant just closed. Unbelievable, ruined our first date and experience! We had to settle for a chain restaurant and that is not how I dine. They need to do better!

Beware! This place is an outdated bug infested hellhole! I booked this bug motel for 3 nights and on the very first night I was awaken in the middle of the morning feeling some sort of crawling sensation, only to discover several bugs in my bed!!! My family & I immediately packed our bags and demanded a full refund and was told by the incompetent manager by the name of Sonja “in order to look into a refund, I must contact the bug company first”. What sense does that make? What does the customer have to do with your bug infested property?!?!? Why would or should I have to wait to get a refund for the exterminator to confirm that your property is infested! I wish I had researched more thoroughly. After speaking to the idiot Sonja, I specifically filtered and searched Google reviews for the word “bug” and found multiple of customers had similar experiences. This place has a MAJOR bug issue. The entire property is dated. Chipped paint everywhere, trash in the conman area. I noticed 2 out of order signs on elevators and the one that worked was extremely slow! This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at! Room smelled like mildew, stains everywhere. Carpet coming apart. There has to be numerous health code violations going on at this location. I’m appalled they’re actually in business. In addition to the items mentioned above, the customer service is deplorable! Upon arrival, I asked Jessica for additional washcloths and never received them. After discovering the bugs and advising Luke of the situation, he was also rude and unwilling to offer any resolution. Avoid this place at all cost! I wouldn’t recommend this place to a rat!

There are more problems than benefits. Issues: - Jazuzzi? Nah, not working for ages. - Pool? Cold. - Pool towels? All dirty. - Room has no comforters. - 63 degrees in room on arrival. - Old AC with non-working control. Cherry on top - tip culture for the free mediocre hotel breakfast (hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.). They really try hard to demand tips for that by sending the server to bring you a cup of coffee - complementary, which everyone just can pour oneself there. Then invent the price for the breakfast. And start the tips at 18%. Laughed hard...

Hotel is very outdated, the room AC units very loud and there are limited plugs near the bed to charge devices. The onsite dining options very limited and they don't allow outside food/beverages on the premises. The restaurants are understaffed. Waited 15+ minutes for someone to take my order and finally gave up. Then the vending machine was out of order and there is no onsite convenience store. To cap it all off, I requested an email copy of my invoice that never arrived. If you call the hotel directly they never answer and there is no way to leave a voicemail. I've contacted IHG via the online form and called 4 times and the invoice never arrives. I'm done with IHG hotels.

This place is a total dump. About 25 years overdue for a major major renovation. The furniture is in tatters, the gym smells like a dumpster. Can't believe IHG allows this to still be branded as a Crown Plaza. Definitely avoid if you can find an alternative.

Seriously... This hotel is far from being cheap. Service should be at least polite. Ridiculous behavior, strongly rude. Not ok when you come for business meetings. Came with Pr. from Princeton and it was a shame for me.

Been here a few times, this time I attended a wedding which was four miles away from the hotel. The prices are always good and they have a ton of amenities. Nice place to stay, full bar and a restaurant for breakfast.

Seriously ! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been in all my business life ! Nothing to do with the personnel. They’re doing the best they can ! But the rooms are so old, so dark, with ugly furniture. The old style AC wakes you up in the middle of the night with the unbearable sound of its fan…The flat TV is the only thing that has been refurbished ! The breakfast buffet is poor and the bar/restaurant offers very basic food… The day before checkout, back from work, I found the room as I left it. No housekeeping. I crossed the housekeeper in the corridor. She reassured me and told me that she will take care of my room tomorrow… Seriously ! Waow… if you feel that you are currently too happy and euphoric, go and stay a couple of nights there. You will checkout completely depressed. IHG should stop selling these rooms and immediately close the hotel for a FULL refurbishment. This is an emergency… Mayday, Mayday…

I just would like to start with the front desk staff is absolutely amazing, especially John Carlos. I have stayed in this hotel over the last 10 years, several times a year for at least a week at a time. This last time I was there I have money on my desk and someone, I would guess housekeeping, took it thinking it was a tip. I reported the incident and was basically told I was lying and the housekeeper wouldnt risk her job or self esteem over $40. There is a safe in the closet, I suggest that you use it.

Food was delicious. Overall prices are borderline high. Hours on website are wrong.

We stayed 1 night, the room seemed to be clean, the bathroom not properly as in the shower there were hairs belonging to somebody else. Also common areas were not properly clean. Privacy in the room was not the best as we could hear people in the near room talking over the phone. It has a big complementary parking. Breakfast is on average in service and quality. Bottom line, it is only a “useful” place to be when in Princeton.

Stayed here one night and all I can say is that it was okay. The room was pretty big, the bathroom was pretty nice, and the bed and pillow was comfortable. But walking into the hotel, it feels like I've time traveled back to the 90s. The entire hotel, from the lobby to the restaurant to the rooms, is in dire need of some serious refurbishment. The elevators are at least 30 years old and are extremely slow. There is also just one elevator for the South Tower and we had to use the service elevator instead since it was much faster. Service was pretty meh. We were able to check in at 10AM which was nice but I didn't get the lake view room that I originally booked. Understandable, since I checked in early. But there was no acknowledgement from the lady at the check-in desk of my IHG membership - not so much as a thank you (frankly she seemed extremely disinterested). As a Platinum Elite I got 600 points as a welcome amenity, but this was communicated through an email instead of at check-in. Disappointing, but whatever. Our room was missing a bedsheet and the mattress cover had these horrible and disgusting stains on them. I called the front desk to let them know but since the housekeeping staff all went home, the best they could do was to give us fresh bedsheets which I put on myself. At least they were clean. Also, this is a conference hotel so I would expect a fair number of business travelers staying here, therefore the lack of adequate outlets/charging ports in the room was somewhat perplexing. The mini-fridge was extremely loud and emitted this high-pitched noise when it was on. The toilet was even louder - every time you flush it sounds like a rocket was launched. Breakfast at the restaurant was $20 per person for food you'd expect to see served complimentary at a Holiday Inn Express. Overpriced and subpar. The bacon was stone-cold. At least the service was great. All in all not the best Crowne Plaza I've stayed at. It was sufficient for one night, but I would not stay here any longer than that.

Check-in was friendly. The room was clean if not a little dated and dark. I tried to get a bite to eat at the bar/restaurant but waited 10 minutes and never got served (to be fair the hotel was very busy with lots of large groups of people). The bar was packed. Breakfast buffet was pretty high quality but not worth the price. Tip : If you book the nearby Holiday inn you will stay at the Crowne plaza and the breakfast buffet is included in your rate (Holiday inn is closed but still takes reservations). Overall good experience but the restaurant and bar needs more help.

This is a conference centre close to Princeton NJ. The landscape is very beautiful and the property is surrounded by a huge park with a small lake. The hotel itself is a rather indistinct block of concrete. Breakfast buffet is rather limited (May 2022). Rooms are clean and modern. The afternoon receptionist was a disaster: disinterested, almost impolite and no service at all. Clearly not the right person for the job. My overall rating would have been 4 stars but one less due to that bad check-in experience.
