Find it interesting that every other post office closes at 3 PM on Saturday, some at 5 PM or later — and this one closes at 1:30 PM. Also on weekdays it closes at 4:30 PM before anyone gets off work which is quite revealing. Other post offices close after 5 PM - Princeton and Hightstown and some Hamilton USPS locations close at 7 PM.This Plainsboro location never holds mail even when you call them and they officially confirm with you. They are also very rude on the phone putting you on hold for a hour and hanging up on you. They also have one front desk person end early on Saturday so you have to wait for the one sole front desk person to handle your needs. They also look at you like it’s the end of the world when you walk into line. Some of them at the front desk can’t even speak English and when one advised me that a delivery will arrive Thursday, I thought she said in 31 days.

the American female employee here is extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, not willing to answer any questions without being offensive. The American male and the younger Indian female employee are extremely nice, respectful and patient with questions.

Clerk 1 Lu is one of the most attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful person!! He is always ready to help with a smile. Efficient service and caring help. Is the only reason why I don't change my PO BOX even though I don't use it. Thanks Lu for always recommending the best value for my packages and safe delivery.

Big African American lady runs the place like jailhouse. Rude to customers. I asked her a question in regard to my package she answered me with an attitude. Talking down to me trying to belittle me cuz of my accent (foreigner) in front of everyone...She really needs Customer service training. HORRIBLE!!!

The staff here lack communication skill. I went there about two weeks ago to mail a letter and asked the staff where to put the mailing address on the envelope. They showed me a sample letter for less than 5 seconds and then called on the next, then nothing else. Maybe they were in a hurry to get things done.

This is the worst post office in nj. Mailed 2 cards to my son 11 days ago from Arizona. Spoke to Rich again he is as useless as the day is long. He is rude and not willing to help solve this problem!

The person working the window on 3/14/23 @ 4pm wasn't helpful at all when I told her that I needed a package that arrived at this office as the next day I had a trip and the items in the package needed to come with me on the trip. I begged for her to help and she didn't even try.

WHY DO THE DELIVERY MAILPERSONS USE THE VEHICLES TO BLOCK THE ROADS AND RESIDENTIAL OR COMMERCIAL PARKING SPACES… Especially when they know they will be awhile sorting or delivering mail ?How would they like it if someone used a vehicle and blocked them in ?INCONSIDERATE !

The postal worker who serves my apartment complex is quite frankly terrible. There have been several occasions where he did not take my outgoing mail for over a week, but has put new mail in the mailbox. When I tried calling this office to be able to speak with a manager and report his poor work ethic the mailbox is full. This is my primary complaint but I think if this is this person‘s job and they are not doing it properly it deserves a one star review. Please fix the behavior. However, the people working in the post office itself have always been very kind and personable and there have been other postal workers I’ve spoken with who have shown nothing but friendliness and a desire to serve. So I am grateful for those other ones.

I met Jai today (one of your postal workers) at my apt complex. Nicest mail person I have ever met- she guided my car so that I wouldnt accidentally hit her or her truck and she was so friendly after so I introduced myself and hope to see her again soon!

I'm very sorry that they got rid of the self service machine in the lobby so you can only buy postage during operating hours.

New to the area, never seen such a friendly Post Office. Went right at open to send a package and a piece of mail, and the clerks were all polite and efficient. I see a lot of negative, specific situations on their reviews, but my experience was a positive one.

This is the one closest to my home. I used to go here a lot after hours because that's what worked with my schedule and they had a kiosk where you could buy postage for packages and drop them in the big bin at any time of day. Very convenient. Until one day I walked in and both the machine and the bin were gone. There was a notice up saying the sorry folks, but theres still a kiosk in Princeton junction for your convenience. Well, that one ISNT so convenient for me. Another day I thought I'd try the PO in Carnegie Center--you know that huge one in Princeton that gets a lot of traffic? They had a kiosk in there that I used occasionally. Machine and bin GONE. I Asked the person at the counter, what's going on? Well, she said, the kiosks weren't making any money for us. Wow. So the convenience of customers doesn't matter at all. Fast forward about a year. In the meantime, I had been going to the one at Princeton Junction every once in a while, and to the one in Hillsboro when I had something else to do near there. Yesterday I went to the PJ one. Guess what? Kiosk gone. No notice, no apology. Today --a Sunday--I had to drive 13.7 miles to Hillsboro for the convenience of a kiosk. I'm so disgusted with the PO. I wish there were other options besides the more expensive FedEx and UPS. Other than that, I'm sooooo happy with this PO and the PO in general. Jk

No outside mailbox, which is inexcusable during a pandemic. My wife says it has sometimes opened late and closed early.

This is the best USPS location in NJ. I’ve been doing online resale for a half decade and have used them exclusively, even when it isn’t convenient. They move the line fast, the reps (particularly Lou and Ratna) are incredibly knowledgeable and efficient and they ALWAYS thank you even if there is a slight wait. They’ve never lost a package of mine and everything gets scanned out within hours. They serve a MASSIVE community (lots of mail box changes, holds, and forwarding requests) and they do so extremely well.
