“Public service announcement: DO NOT come to this Dollar Tree for Pokémon cards if you actually want to get Pokémon cards.
They do get them. That’s the wild part. They absolutely exist here… for about 3.7 seconds. By the time you walk in, blink, and head toward the toy aisle, they’re already gone like a rare spawn that despawned the moment you logged in.
Store itself? Totally fine. Clean, stocked, classic Dollar Tree experience. Just understand this is not the place for Pokémon card optimism. Come for snacks and party supplies, not packs.
Verdict: 4 stars. Great store. Terrible odds.”*”
“This store puts all of the other Dollar Tree stores to shame especially the one on Rt.. 70 in Lakewood and the one in Brick on Hooper ave. This dollar tree in Point Pleasant on 88 and Bay ave is neat and the staff are friendly and helpful, Lakewood and Brick stores are a disgrace. Very sloppy and unfriendly. Merry Christmas Dollar Tree store in Point Pleasant!!!!”
“Just a quick shout out to Miss Patty at the Wall NJ location. She has that store so organized it’s a pleasure to shop in there. Everything is in its place and easily found. She’s the first to tidy up after customers make a mess. She’s a wonderful asset to the store. Keep up the good work Miss Patty, you are appreciated!”
“This dollar tree is always updating its items and it's great seeing a variety of items available. i enjoy going here for the arizona teas, books and cute animal candy pops.”
“I love the Family Dollar Store, I can get everything that I need at a very reasonable price. We are truly blessed to have such an absolutely beautiful Family Dollar Store.”
“I've shopped at many Dollar Tree stores all over Ocean County, and this store was the best I've ever seen. It was extremely well organized, clean, and the employees were working efficiently. Very pleased.”

“Excellent, fast service. Great value on many items. The frozen pretzels are the best...and yes...they are only $1.00. Greeting cards are 2 for $1.00. How can you go wrong? You can't. A+”
“Always amazed at some of what this place has, and always disappointed as I reflect on how much more expensive places like Walmart can be for some of these things. Of course some things are not a deal here but for the most part this is a fun once a week adventure.”

“Bi-Coastal, and a visitor in between ?, I LOVE every single one of my local DollarTrees!! I have help put together one from a bare room, worked at one... hell, was even dedicated enough to get FIRED from one!! ? Ahhh, to be young again...
But this small diamond in the rough- located between an oversized, overpriced, At Home store and some annoying construction (pretty clever construction signs though) off of the most inconvenient- at times- roads in Brick... remember when there was a Kmart and a walking bridge that connected the two roads?... IS STEPPING UP ITS GAME! <-- yes it was a run-on (and on again) sentence, but I made it back to my point... new isles w/ new prices!! C'mon, we all know when it became $.25? the new selection was AWESOME... Granted it sucks to have the same things you bought for years raise in price... Look around, this is surely not news to you... Perhaps taking a cue from dollar general, Dollar Tree has added items for $3, $5, and I believe I saw a $7 item? I can't be sure, I wasn't prepared for this type of nonsense, so overwhelmed... It was... glorious. Word is, yeah I got it like that, that they're gonna expand the other ones to include isles with this as well. I'm not a fan of change and I unfortunately feel I've learned that every time something changes it loses its awesomeness. Thank God I also learned there are some exceptions to everything you've learned. And I take in this new Dollar Tree approach excited as balls!
...Had to”
“Dawn is always so friendly and sweet. Love her! Tracy was also very helpful. Had a question about an out of stock item and she wrote it down and said she would ask the rep and look into it Couldn’t be happier! Great crew!!!!!”
“Store is usually stocked when I go in. Friendly cashiers now. Bad news is self checkout is no more due to all the stealing.
So usually long lines at checkout.”
“Shout out to this store (new one on the block) Annie and the rest of the staff are great! Thank you for always being available to assist your customers! I just wish you opened at 8am like the other stores…. Again thank you for the excellent customer service! Keep up the good work !”
“I can't really complain at this location, decent prices when your looking for certain items.... it's just a matter of them being in stock. And, It's not the employees of said stores fault. They get what they get. These stores are corporate run. Sure the store is messy kinda, but look at the times we're in. A PANDEMIC, that just has ramification after ramification. They're short staffed. But they HOLD UP TO THEIR JOB AND DO THEIR BEST! As Best They can!!! I see it, and I applaud it!!”
“As a die hard Eagles fan, who grew up in Wall, Tracey , the Cashier, (Cowboy fan) Booo! Super friendly, professional educated , well spoken!! You’re lucky to have this employee! I actually visit this location due to her personality! Live in Philadelphia and Love to remind everyone the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champions!! Great sport!! Give her a raise!! Go Birds!!!”

“This particular Dollar General is located just outside my neighborhood so it's convenient for me to go to this one. However, it's very messy and not very well stocked. The employees are overworked and dragging through their day. I've had a few vent to me about working 70+ hrs a week, every new employee they higher quits within the 1st few days. I see the same 2 women employees working daily. It's quite obvious that the brunt of this store's operation is on their shoulders. They are unable to keep up with the daily tasks with it just being them. You can see that the store is taking a big hit and is becoming run down. It's a mess.. plastic on the floors, many palettes of merchandise are taking up the floors every which way you turn. Something needs to he done.”
“Good Dollar Tree location with many things I usually do not find in the DT locations near my house. I took a trip to visit family and had to stop at this DT for a few things and found way more than I usually find at DT. Clean and organized too!!”
“I have a theory. A conspiracy, if you will. Every time I walk into this Dollar General, the shelves are stocked with everything EXCEPT Pokémon cards and Hot Wheels. Coincidence? I think not.
I’m starting to believe there’s a secret underground operation where the employees get first dibs, crack packs in the back room, and race Hot Wheels down the aisles after hours. Again—no proof. Just vibes. STRONG vibes.
Store itself? Clean, convenient, gets the job done. But until I witness a single Pokémon blister pack in the wild, I will remain suspicious.
Verdict: 4 stars. Solid Dollar General, but I’m watching you… and so is my inner child.”*”
“Not everything here is a dollar, but they have a vast array of items ranging from 1- 9$. It is by far the best place to go to for snacks in Point Pleasant. They have a variety of essentials and quite a few interesting items. I love this place!”
