I am so thankful to have accidentally found Ken at Point Transmission & Total Car Care. He has been so honest with me about what my car has needed to keep it going over the last 2 years. He has been so great to work with and every time I have called he has taken my car right away. The repair time has been amazingly fast, which is so helpful with our car being the family car. The last time we were in, instead of attempting repairs, he was honest about what our next step should be. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ken and the rest of the staff at Point Transmission & Total Car Care!

I had KEN and company repair a transmission on my Isuzu rodeo. several years ago. I was very impressed with their work. I decided to bring my truck back to them again when my four-wheel-drive was acting up.
Just as before they serviced my truck promptly and extremely reasonably. I’m very impressed with their work. The truck was nice and clean when I left it in and it was just as clean when I picked it up. In addition to that it runs absolutely fantastic. I have a 40 minute drive from home to their shop however, I would be glad to make the trip any time to have them work on it or any of my other vehicles, their work is absolutely excellent and extremely reasonable. Again, thank you very much KEN. I would certainly recommend anyone I know if they have a transmission or automotive problem to go to your shop. For honest and excellent repairs to a vehicle.

Ken, from Point Transmission is one of the most HONEST guys around. My mother as well as myself could of easily gotten swindled for $5k+ between issues with both our vehicles but Ken, the owner, being the stand up business man he is suggested the truth as well as alternatives in order to provide us with the best service possible, saving us thousands of dollars. I will forever be grateful to him, passing his place of business to anyone that even mentions an issue with their vehicles. A++++

I highly recommend bringing your car here for service and repairs! Unfortunately my car needed a lot of work this year but Kenny and Brian took care of it all. Another shop in town that I trust recommended them for transmission work. They are very knowledgeable and got the work done quickly. It's nice to have a local business you can trust and rely on!

Have brought my car in for service multiple times from simple oil changes and break jobs to more complex jobs and have been extremely satisfied every time. Ken and the rest of the team are extremely knowledgeable, transparent, and fair. They keep you updated every step of the way and go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Just processed an oil change and a transmission service to my Ford Escape!
They found a leak in my 4wd .. fixed it for me charging mr only for the parts and fluid required! Still tops in the area w good service !!!
Good service, knowledgeable of intricate engine and transmission problems ! Friendly and priced very reasonable ( 4 other places had no clue what to repair) . Ken is tops !!

Called up the shop early Monday morning to see if I could get my Jeep Grand Cherokee looked at. Spoke with Ken who has helped me in the past, and he told me to bring it on in. By the afternoon, they had already accurately diagnosed the issue I was having and before 5PM they had it completely repaired and ready for pickup. Was very happy to have it all fixed within 1 day! I needed a new Transfer Case Control module. I like to take my vehicle to this shop when I anticipate it being a complex or serious mechanical issue. These guys are like the brain surgeons of auto repair. Would definitely trust them with any future major issues.

RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I am absolutely horrified!!! If I can help just one person from being ripped off I will sleep better at night. The world is full of crooks who take advantage of people who live pay check to pay check and they are just another one of those people. Your misfortune is their opportunity to take advantage of you. Don't let them do to you what they did to me!!
Just a few things to name. They scratched my car door while it was up on the lift. Their solution "we have a guy who can fix it for $600.00 or we can take it off the bill." Apologetic not in the least. But that's ok they make up for the amount of the discount for the scratch on the credit card charge. They charge a credit card fee. Not just any fee!! 4%. You heard right 4%.
They also overcharged on the transmission repair. If you want to get an idea of what the cost will be for work they do. Do your research of what others will charge and add an additional $2,000.00 to that. That will be your cost. That's for rebuilt not even brand new!! Also you can try to reason with them. You can tell them how a dealer doesn't even charge what they charge. You can beg for some kind of valid reasoning. Then he'll tell you ok I will relook at the numbers and see what I can do. But don't fall for it! It's a lie!!
When they try to justify the amount they whip out others bills with even higher charges. How does that make you feel better.
All it shows is how he rips off not only you but others too!
They also won't give you a quote before the work is done either so be prepared to have to take out a loan just to fix your car.

Brought my car in for a routine oil change and asked to have tires checked before taking a long trip. After inspection of the tires, it was discovered that the breaks needed new pads. Ken Grooms went above & beyond to make sure the car was in good working order & the brakes are guaranteed to boot. I highly recommend using Point Transmission for all your car needs.
