I am a frequent flyer here and have been for some time. I suffer from a disorder called “Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome” and unfortunately wind up in the ER multiple times a year for excessive dehydration. I only ever go here because the level of care I receive is unparalleled. They hardly ever make you wait, the staff are kind hearted and helpful. They can do pretty much anything a typical ER can do. I will not go anywhere else to receive the care I need in the midst of a CVS episode, or any other minor emergency. Thank you to the wonderful team here! I appreciate all you do!

Late nite visit for sudden fever & ear ache on my 15 yr old granddaughter brought us here. JR was friendly & polite & had us registered in minutes & immediately brought us back into a room. Nurse John P. & Dr. Frankel were professional & kind with her making her feel at ease. She was given a dose of medication before leaving so I didn't have to go find a 24 hour pharmacy. Her prescription was ready at our pharmacy in the morning. All together we were in and out with an examination in less than an hour even with other patients being treated there at the time. This facility was neat and clean. I would definitely take the 20 minute drive here instead of going to the ER closer to us. Thank you Dr. Frankel, Nurse John & JR for your caring service.

Went to Brick Hospital ER which was an absolute joke. There must have been over 70 people there. Waited til the next morning and came here. What an amazing experience!!! From check in to check out, everything went well. They were extremely professional yet very caring. I feel like they treated me as if I was a member of their family. I would highly recommend them.

We had a medical emergency (not life-threatening but with blood loss, broken bone and pain) and felt so fortunate to have this ER so close by. Because it is a satellite ER and not a big hospital, there was practically NO waiting time and we were helped immediately and my husband got quick first aid - pain treatment, assessment, X-ray and consult with a specialist. We ended up having to go to another hospital nearby for special surgery afterwards but it made such a difference to be seen and treated right away. Staff was professional and great.

Dr Britt Lacher was truly a lifesaver. Her compassion and decency is unsurpassed. I was treated with kindness and respect by Dr. Lacher and the nurse. They worked well as a team to meet medical needs and make me feel comfortable and cared for when I was concerned. She quickly figured out my diagnosis when others could not. I highly recommend her and Ocean Care Center.

I have visited this care center on numerous occasions and while the nurses, exam techs, registration ladies are all pleasant...I have a complaint about one specific doctor. Dr. Britt Lacher is easily one of the rudest doctors I have ever come across and she should not be working in medicine. My first experience with her was a couple years ago when I had a COVID scare and I had to come here because my primary was away and urgent care dropped my insurance. She proceeded to tell me she needed to check my throat and flipped out when I pulled my mask down, saying she wanted to do it. Really?? Today's visit (8/25/23) was just as brutal. I came in for a massive headache and I was unsure if it was related to my epilepsy or not. I attempted to inform her that my neurologist also recently dropped my insurance and she immediately said "Go to Jefferson hospital in Philly". She has horrible bedside manner. She kept cutting me off every time I tried to speak and also was supposed to order a CT scan on my head that never happened, as well as sent a prescription to my pharmacy that I never even took before (an anti-dizzy medicine called Meclizine). Aside from all of that, she NEVER examined me and the nurse did everything, including discharging me. The ER was not even close to busy- maybe four cars in the parking lot so what was her excuse for not even coming back?? The only good thing she did was give me an IV of Reglan and Toradol, and within an hour, my headache was gone. I still do prefer this facility if I don't need to go to the main hospital, but someone needs to teach this doctor some manners and how to treat patients better!!

I recently sent my injured, elderly relative to the Ocean Care Center. It turned out that her injury was possibly life threatening. If not for the compassionate, prompt, and skilled care she received, she may have had severe consequences. Nurse Janet, PA Anthony Burdo and Emergency Physician Dr. Lacher worked swiftly to move my family member into a critical care area and worked tirelessly to treat her injuries and render care. We are beyond grateful that this satellite ED was open and the staff are immediately available to stabilize and treat severe injuries. Dr. Lacher and Anthony called us and kept us informed and we are forever grateful for their patience and concern.

Don’t bother unless you’re dying. Or in that case just go to the hospital. Took my wife here for severe back pain to the point where she couldn’t walk. They Took my $100 copay immediately, then we sat in the waiting room for at least 1 hour, finally got called to a room and sat there for another hour. We saw a nurse 1 time for 1 minute who asked her to change into a gown and said the doctor would be right in. After 2 hours we walked out. Nobody even noticed or seemed to care. This place is a joke and they charge as if they are a hospital.
