The Spa Doctor is a total thief. He installed a 3hp motor instead of the requires 5 hp motor last year. When my other pump broke i called him and watched him replace the defective 5 hp with a 3HP. I then looked at the motor he replaced the prior year and saw he also replaced my 5 hp with a 3hp. He said he would return with the correct motor. He never showed up. Instead he came back to my property without authorization and stole the 3 hp motor he had installed. He has not returned my money nor has he returned my repeated calls. We have a video of him taking taking the motor from our tub and are taking him to small claims court to recoup the cost of both motors. Dont use him

He is a total thief. He put in a 3 hp insteadof the required 5hp on a motor last year.He came back to repair the second motor and I noticed he was using a 3 hp. I then checked and saw he replaced my other 5 hp with a 3 hp. He said he would come back with the correct motor. He actaully came back without my authorization and stole the 3 hp he had put previuosly installed He kept my money and will not respond to our phone calls. Stay away from this sleezy repair guy. Taking him to small claims court to sue for the cost of two new motors.

Sounds way to familar. Gave the thieving liar Pierre $175 to buy a pump for my pool. He kept the money and disappeared. He did not return any phone calls. I treated him as a friend and he,screwed me. I am now a,i'm believer in karma after reading the reviews about the liar and,cheat. IN 2015 HIS HOUSE BURNED DOWN. YEA !!

Complete ripoff do not trust pierre gaston. Quoted 383 for a job took 150 deposit said he would be back tommorrow, three weeks later 3 no shows, I threatened to call police he then calls me back and surprising is at the parts store today but the one parts price has mysteriously gone from 130 to 585. I immediately told him stay away from my property and I want my deposit back. Called another service board costs 120 not 585. Total repair 240. Now he won't answer calls or refund money. Thank god he only got me for 150. After read yp reviews I discovered he scammed others for much more. Stay away from this business.

Boy I wish I'd read that other review before I hired Pierre. Learn from our mistakes and do not work with him!!! We first used him about a year ago when we were having trouble with our hot tub. He replaced the motor (we think) and the tub worked fine. After Sandy we called him because the hot tub was damaged. 1st he said 3 things had to be replaced (circuit board, blower, & key pad). He asked for $450 upfront (no problem) but then when he returned he only had the circuit board (not the other 2 parts). After he hooked it up he decided we now needed a new motor as well and needed a down payment of $585 for that! Additionally his “helper†broke one of the fittings so they wrapped some tape around it. He came back with a new motor (still no blower or key pad) but it doesn't work properly. It hardly has ANY POWER. As of a last week we had to disconnect the electric because it will not turn off. We have called him many times but he just won't return the calls. The other reviewer said she had to call from another # and pretend to be a “new†customer to get him to call her back. I might try that. I'm planning to find someone else to fix the tub and sue Pierre to get my money back. What a hassle! Save yourself the trouble and just don't use him!!!
