“I have nothing but great things to say about this vet office. I am a crazy cat mom and I am a very anxious person when it comes to my animals. I found out on Sunday that my cat Scout would need a cystotomy surgery for a bladder stone. I called city by the sea on Monday (they were recommended to me by a ton of people on Facebook) and they got me in the same night for appointment. Dr. Santos-Melody spent so much time with me, doing an extensive evaluation on Scout, went over his blood work, his surgery, and answered any and all questions I had. She was incredible. We originally scheduled the surgery for the 18th but I called and expressed how stressed I was about the position he was in and they moved his surgery up for me. This has been such a crazy few days and I cannot express how easy they have made this process. Their staff, pricing, availability and all around business is just amazing. I seriously could not recommend them enough. Thank you to Karen, Dr. Santos-Melody and to the owner Dr. Tom for working with me and doing all you can do for my baby boy. I so so so so appreciate it !!”

“The staff at this veterinary practice is truly wonderful. Dr. Peluso was especially kind and compassionate throughout our experience. Our cat, Tony, was diagnosed with high-grade lymphoma, and although he was acting normal at first, his condition declined very quickly over the course of just two weeks. During that incredibly difficult time, my husband and I had an exceptional experience with the entire veterinary team.
They were always there for us, especially during those final two weeks, offering guidance, compassion, and constant support. The care Tony received was nothing short of exceptional. When the time came for him to cross the bridge, we felt surrounded by kindness and understanding.
As a hospice nurse myself, compassionate care means everything to me, and I can honestly say the staff went above and beyond. Their empathy, professionalism, and genuine concern for both Tony and our family will never be forgotten. Tony was our very special cat, and we are deeply grateful for the care and exceptional support they provided during such a heartbreaking time. Thank you for everything.”

“We have been going to Beach Animal Hospital for at least 10 years. They have always taken care of my girl!! We left for a short time to a vet closer to our new home but dissatisfied with their care and cost, we left and went back to Beach and just take the 40 min drive because its worth it!
Roxy is 15.5 and just had surgery yesterday. I was so worried about putting her under at her age but they made me feel so comfortable. She came out with a few new scars but they removed 2 masses, both cancer. She came home same day and is resting comfortably while she heals. I highly recommend all the doctors at Beach. The staff is so amazing! They already called to check in on her this morning! Here she is resting up post surgery!”

The business has recently been remodeled & repainted projecting a loving atmosphere when you enter. All the Drs are knowledgeable and explain situations with options so the average person can understand. My French bulldog was neutered a few weeks ago and his surgery and aftercare were incredible. We have never had a dog who likes going to the vet, but Blue our Dogo Argentino sees the building and gets so happy to go in! They always make the exams as quick and painless as possible, and do exams without holding him down. They get on the floor with them and make it a game. “Been taking my cat here for several years. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. My cat is almost 12 years old and has some GI issues that unfortunately can get worse in a matter of hours with little warning. With that said, I sometimes need her seen ASAP. Last week being one of those incidents.. I was up all night with zero sleep with a sick cat. Next morning I called and they were able to get me a late afternoon appointment. Staff is helpful and Dr DiLorenzo is so kind, gentle and reassuring. Listens and explains everything to you. Grateful to know I have this wonderful place I know I can rely on to keep my baby healthy and alive!”
