One of the best small stations I’ve seen glad they kept the branch line.

I decided to take a NJTransit train to NY Penn this time instead from Trenton. Parking is plentiful but apparently you must pay for it. The station is completely outdoors, but it is clean and I didn't see any homeless or loiters. If you go east and come back going west vice versa, know that there is a tunnel underneath to get to the other side. You can buy a ticket inside the station (but I prefer using the app).

Had my bumper ripped off after parking overnight here in what appears to be an attempted CAN-bus carjacking. Reported to transit parking authority and called the police about it but they were super rude. Please beware if you park here.

Princeton Junction Station West Windsor is a convenient and efficient train station. It is located in a central location, making it easy to get to from anywhere in the area. The station is also well-maintained and clean. The staff at the station are friendly and helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and help you find your way around. The station also has a variety of amenities, including a waiting area, restrooms, and a cafe.I have used Princeton Junction Station West Windsor on several occasions, and I have always had a positive experience. The trains run on time, and the staff is always helpful. I would definitely recommend this station to anyone who is looking for a convenient and efficient way to travel.

Convenient transfer for Princeton faculty and students as well as regional residents to travel north or south. Not a frequent Amtrak stop.

“Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world.”― George Bernard ShawIt was very relaxing to travel by train, there was good leg room and comfortable seats. But the windows were filthy and on one direction none of the reading lamps worked. My only other criticism is most of the announcements were unintelligible. The next time I travel by train I will carry something to clean the window, it is a shame how filthy they are on the inside. Also, it was surprising how security relaxed Amtrak is compared to the airlines. It seemed one extreme to the other.Traveled Northeast Regional

Horrible!!! Had to miss my best friends birthday because of a connection problem?? Lots of people waiting in the platform, no notice of the train being cancelled to ny Penn station, lots of disappointment, no apologies, not reassuring at all closest way of getting there was 53 min drive to Rahway station, and then another 50 mins to ny. Want a refund. Not acceptable. Do better!

I absolutely love this train station. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad and you can catch both NJ TRANSIT and Amtrak here. The station is everything it should be. Ticket machines on the platform, a waiting room and ticket office that are open off peak hours including weekends, you get the idea. The station is named Princeton Junction because it is the transfer point between the Northeast Corridor and the Princeton Dinky which takes approximately 5 minutes in both directions running on 2.7 miles of track. You access it from the westbound platform and it consists of a two-car train of GE Arrow III electric multiple units with BEAUTIFUL interiors (with reversible seats at that) and AWESOME SOUNDING Wabco AA2 air horns.

It has a good parking place. Apart from being on the route of NY to Trenton, this junction is well connected to Princeton University via a separate train. Also there are NJ transit buses and Princeton 's tiger transit stopping here. The bad part about the station is it is not well maintained. The underground tunnels are broken and filthy. And if there is rain then walking through the underground tunnel becomes very difficult. It's not so great place in a beautiful town like Princeton

An absolute best spot to Railfan on the NEC. I absolutely love coming here and seeing the fastest portion of the NEC and the Princeton Dinkey. Parking is easy and the staff is nice. Expect to see at least 1 NJT heritage unit when coming 2 times, one on the way to Trenton and one on the way back.

I’m a Railfanner and this is my favorite station. Tracks straight for miles and awesome shots. Any railfans out there, I highly recommend this station

Train station is standard: bathroom/tickets teller is only available only during dayhours, only in main building.Parking is a mess: Make sure to study maps of parking lots, as different lots permission does not allow use of others, you will get a $75 ticket, even if you did pay for parking...but car is parked in wrong spot. So extra time and study needed.

One of the larger train stops for NJ transit. Unfortunately, AMTrack does NOT stop here. Since covid, there has been plenty of parking, but it wasn’t always that way.
