Do yourself a favor rent somewhere else. These people are rude obnoxious and their customer service skills suck.

I actually requested this location to rent the trailer from because my previous experience was pleasant. This location decided because I was 50 minutes late (which I notified them about via the app last night since it was after hours) was worth charging me another full day of use. As a relatively regular U-Haul renter I will not be using this location in the future.

Three 1 star reviews in a row. That should tell you something. Despite my better judgement, I used U-Haul, and regret it. My son-in-law in Montreal also rented from the U-Haul dealer near his home, and had a similar experience.First, when I booked the van at one location, they did a "bait and switch" and sent to me another location which was far less convenient. Also, becuase there is a mileage charge, the rental ended up costing me more. If you like surprise billings, you will love this company. They take a concept pioneered by the hospital industry to its logical conclusion. And just like hosptials, there is no recourse after the fact. The problem is if you return the vehicle after hours, you have no recourse. I called the owner of this location, who promptly washed his hands of the matter. I escalated to the regional adjuster. The regional adjuster was a reasonable guy, and we got to an equitable resolution. I have two examples of surprise billings:1. U-Haul has a cell phone check-in process, which does not work. Their failure becomes your problem. If you don't succesfully check your vehicle in by cell phone, you get a $20 charge. 2. I was hit with a cleaning charge, because the van was returned dirty. In the end this did turn out to be the case--my bad. Also, watch your back. For every car rental I pick up, I take extensive photos of the vehicle before I move it in the lot to establish per-existing conditions, such as scratches. My failure for this rental was to that I did not take photos of the inside, both before and after the rental. U-Haul should build a marketing program around a new tag line:"We don't care because we don't have to."

I used U-Haul once in December and the company was an awful experience. We just needed a van or truck to pick up an item drop it off home and drop off the vehicle. U-Haul websites often said something was available but if you actually called the location they didn't have a vehicle. We finally found a location in Princeton Junction and when we got there the vehicle was not available and they called the U-Haul customer service and they were suggesting we go to another location which I didn't want to do because we had an appointment to be somewhere and thought coming to pick up the vehicle an hour in advance will give us plenty of time we ended up waiting over an hour and a half they gave us another vehicle but when we got into it the vehichle engine light was on?dont they check these? They ended up giving us a stand-up truck but it wasn't until we were already 45 minutes Beyond our appointment time to be somewhere to pick up an item. I was given phone number of the U-Haul field manager with it 215 area code phone number to complain and speak to however only a voicemail was available and a month later I've never heard anything back. I would not use them again and I would not advise anyone else to use them from my experience. Hamilton NJ

Not your typical Uhaul establishment, but if they have the truck available you probably wouldn't care for the smoke-filled room where you do the transaction. Yard is unkempt and looking like an abandoned business. It is what it is, I guess.

I went here for a U-Haul rental, which was supposed to be contactless. But the lock combination did not work, so I had to go in the office. There were THREE STAFF PEOPLE IN A TINY ENCLOSED SPACE, NOT ONE WEARING A MASK. On top of that, the manager said, "Oh, you had the lock with the missing number?" So they knew of the problem and did not bother to fix it, then violated protocols and exposed customers to risk.

Not sure if this business is still open. Been calling for a month to try to get a rental on the weekend. Home Depot truck rental is way easier.

I think those old reviews were from when it was under different management. The service I got was prompt and incredibly friendly, and the van I rented was ready and clean.
