Yesterday(3rd March 2025) we brought lychee coconut jelly from big bazaar. jelly pack is expired on 19 Feb 2025.
It's happened with us 3rd time.
Really bad experience with pack products from big bazaar.

Today I went to this supermarket to return the chapattis pack as it went bad after 3 days of buying. The rotis had the label of the store as well but It had no expiration date and no manufacturing date. The pack was untouched and unopened. When I went to return, the cashier named Shalini was so rude, arrogant and misbehaved with me. When I asked her to return, she says please give us a receipt and when I didn’t have the receipt she was like no we cannot return it while I told her that we bought it just couple days back. And on that she started giving us tantrums and said no I cannot do it. I cannot return it. when I was even giving her my debit card to check the last four digits of the transaction. When I told her to call the manager, she said the manager cannot do anything. It’s just the same way what I can do. She was saying the manager and Shalini has the same powers when they both have the same powers. I don’t understand why there is a manager in the store. But the other lady was nice enough to help me out and she processed my refund. I also wanted to buy the entire grocery for the month but because of the rude behavior, I wasn’t able to buy it so I had to go to a different store named Patidar which was around 6-7 miles away, but I still had to go there as she misbehaved with us, there was no choice left for us.

I am truly grateful that this lil gem is within walking distance for me ... The store is very clean, the shelves and freezers are always stocked and in order...they of course have a very large variety of legumes, beans, rice , nuts, seasonings , sweets and the produce section is fresh. They also have items , like soya chunks, that I usually had to buy on line for usally 3xs the pricing... Their pricing is very reasonable, and if you buy legumes , rice etc in bulk your definitely saving money ... For someone like me who abstains from eating meat and dairy this place is a little slice of heaven and I take my time exploring everytime I walk in the doors, lol. The staff has always been friendly and open to answer any questions , so are the Aunties you come across ;) Please be sure to support local small businesses!

Today I bought white dhokla from the food section. While eating I found 2 big stapler pins in them. Please ask your employees specifically working on the food section to check the food item while packing. This could be very serious if it was accidentally consumed. Never gonna buy any ready to eat items from the food counter.
