Stay away! I have never left a review for a bank before but i had such a bad experience. Everyone at the bank is just rude and follows different rules. For example manager never had issue sharing transfer info with me over the phone but spoke to Melanie she did not share any info and was rude and hang up on me. Their tech on the app is useless and their transfers take forever to go through to any other bank. Trying to close the account and customer service can’t even locate my account with my account number. There are too many other banks out there to suffer through this one!

The Citizens Bank Princeton Branch Manager Miguel Minetti is a hostile person. I had a very unsavory interaction with him and found his demeanor threatening, prompting me to contemplate closing our accounts with Citizens. I found it really surprising because the rest of the staff in that branch and in other Citizens Bank branches I've visited are decent and helpful. Minetti should not be allowed anywhere close to a customer unless Citizens wants a lawsuit.

The reps at the store are nice people but the company itself is just NOT convenient. At first when I open an account I was not able to get a debit card. I came back a couple days later just spent 20+ minutes in the branch trying to get a card. When I finally did get the card it took maybe 10 minutes to print. Finally I was on my way to carry out my errands. I used the card several times throughout the day and it was fine. All of a sudden later on in the evening I could not use the debit card. And of course by this time it was a Sunday so I couldn’t even go to the branch to get a new card. There’s money trapped on my debit card that I can’t use because my card is not working. Every time I call Customer Service it’s busy and I have money on my card that I can’t even use. I’m really sick to death of this Bank already and it’s only been a week and a half since I opened an account. Lastly, the customer service is overseas which I have a problem with. That’s probably why it takes so long to get through. I will be closing this account as soon as possible.

I opened my account with them for the first time the ladys there are amazing they explained detail by detail didn't have to work for a debit card it was done rightnon the spot they always are friendly and have a big smile on their faces everyday
