“My 6 year old had a great party, and I was so grateful not to have to do anything having just welcomed a second baby. Thank you to the staff at tumbles! She had a wonderful day.”

“This was an immensely positive experience. Workout classes are always tough, and Locomotion's HIIT circuit was. But the people in the gym were (1) locked in during the workouts, (2) inviting and encouraging during the breaks, and (3) and people stayed around for a little bit to chat after the workout ended. Whether they knew each other before or after, the experience felt non-judgmental, supportive and motivating. This was the epitome of a tremendous fitness group and community. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Princeton, and I highly recommend others to give it a try as well.”
“I’ve worked out my entire life and have been a member of many gyms, but Orangetheory Fitness Princeton stands out.
The workout is comprehensive and a no-brainer. You walk in, and everything is mapped out for you. The coaches are not only motivational and personable, but also incredibly knowledgeable, bringing great energy to every single class. Shout out to Derek, Romeo, Jared, Sam, and Coach Boo. They know how to push you while keeping things safe, effective, and engaging. The staff is just as wonderful, welcoming, helpful, supportive, and genuinely kind.
What I love most is how the workout covers all aspects of movement and different training modalities. It’s effective whether you’re a young athlete pushing performance or someone simply committed to staying strong and healthy later in life. It’s structured, efficient, and it works. I've seen a lot of good strength and cardiovascular changes since I first started back in 2018.
I just show up, give my best, and in one hour, it’s done. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced, it meets you where you are and pushes you forward.
I’m so grateful to be part of this community. Thank you, OT Princeton. You rock.”
“I love the non fluff gym. Though basic, it meets the needs of a serious workout. Though small, it has all the necessary equipment, which never gets too crowded. I have never waited for equipment. Friendly staff and clean environment and affordable.”
“A candid assessment from someone who was there nearly every day for 15+ years. If you believe you'll benefit from working out with a personal trainer, this is the place to be. Based on observation and conversation, the trainers are knowledgeable, dedicated, and diligent. It's also a good gym for anyone needing a pool, child care, classes, or other extras. The fitness center is well-managed, clean, overall a very good place.
However, if you are a veteran gym-goer and just want a place to throw around some weights and work out on machines, I would definitely recommend that you look elsewhere. There's generally one of each machine and quite frequently someone is sitting on it scrolling on their phone between sets. Of course, you can ask to work in and share the machine, which most people will do, albeit sometimes grudgingly. A few cranky souls actually refuse, apparently believing that machine belongs to them. Also, a trainer and client will be often be on a machine for 5 minutes or more, chatting between sets. I tried to avoid asking them to share because that is the trainer's source of income.
I am admittedly a bit of an obsessive nut when it comes to following what I deem good gym etiquette and would never sit on a machine for five seconds. So I wound up getting annoyed (and annoying others) a few times each workout. I finally moved to a gym that is larger (and cheaper) and has a few varieties of each machine. People still sit there and scroll - it is 2026, after all - but it's always easy to find another of the same machine. I miss the trainers and some of the fellow gym-goers at PFW, but the annoyance factor has been almost totally eliminated.
That's one person's view, for what it's worth.”
“I am actually a huge Pokemon go player and happen to live near here. I love the entire Princeton community and everyone who works and lives here is passionate about it”

“I’ve been coming here for about a year now and absolutely love this gym! They always great you and have positive attitudes! The equipment is so much better than most gyms I’ve been too, the locker rooms are always clean and the staff is just wonderful. Very family oriented and I am happy I joined!
My bf was traveling from afar and they were very accommodating to letting him have free passes.
The food is fantastic and I love their muffins!
I do wish they had a cold plunge but I still enjoy all the other amenities! This life time is great!”
“Burn Boot Camp has amazing motivating personal trainers. Each week they cycle through different classes, offer multiple camps per day and it's self paced in group setting. Membership includes child care services which is extremely helpful; making it very parent friendly. The owners/ staff are very pleasant, knowledgable and personaliable. I highly recommend.”
