This establishment is absolutely disgusting from the top down. I can surely attest to this bank being thirsty to collect every fee they can hit a customer with. I read a review that spoke of alleged discrimination they felt and I can surely say I've had an experience if my own. It's clearly seen that the powers that be are too cheap and do very little to invest money back into the company. After ALL these years and dealing with incompetent so-called managers like customer service "Karen" and employees with bogus attitudes, it's finally time to part ways.

I have never felt disrespected and discriminated like I felt today by a supervisor named Karen I called in to get a increase in my spending limit today and was told I could not get my money that's mine for the holiday season it's my business how I spend my money I really think I was discriminated today in 2022 the nerve of people it's my money terrible customer service

HEFCU is an excellent credit union. I benefitted from their services for three decades while employed at a major medical center in New Jersey. They have always been helpful and very courteous when interacting with me. I wish them continued success in serving the healthcare professionals in New Jersey (and elsewhere). Thanks again HEFCU!

To many overdraft fees how can you buy something the merchant take the money send product then Hccu come weeks later and charge you overdraft fees for the same items poor service

I literally never review anything but I feel the need to warn others. This bank is a joke. My family started a basic account to simply have the benefits of a low interest rate when it came to buying our car. When we needed them we called and were told they could not begin the loan process over the phone so in turn we had to go through another bank to finance the car. That’s not the worst of it, we had only $100 in the account to start by a year in they had hit us when so many fees that I was down to $7 within the year. At the end of the day I at least was returned $85, so they took $15 for no reason. Please be warned this bank is outdated, unhelpful, has terrible customer service, and is loaded with hidden fees! Avoid this bank at all costs!!

Not a very convenient way of banking. Have to use other ATM machines when used you pay service fees on both ends.
