Was in this store today, very unhappy they have sizes marked on the rack but the items aren’t actually sorted correctly. I did a buy with them and I just felt like the staff was very impolite! The store also smelled and was a spider by the door that was crawling around

Did not have a great experience today.
Went in and dropped a small bag in hopes to sell my items. The cashier asked if i had sold to plato’s closet and I said yes, at another location though is that ok? She goes very rudely No. Already she is having an attitude. I stick around in the store to do some shopping then I hear her talking to her co worker about our interaction and laughing. I felt very uncomfortable being talked about. Then I went to checkout and they were done looking through my things and they did not offer me the price i was looking for, so I asked if I could have my items back. The same girl didn’t even have the decency to hand them to me she placed a huge bucket on the counter and shoved it in my face. Not really sure what her problem is, she was light skinned with curly hair and glasses. Will not be coming back

UPDATE: In response to the Owner's claims; I never worked at plato's closet nor did I ever claim to have worked there in the past so calling me a disgruntled employee is simply inaccurate. Also the manager did justify the employees actions so in your eyes it may have been handled but it was not in mine. I also asked to speak directly to you (Owner) but was denied so again it truly was not handled. Please do not lie and say I was a disgruntled employee when I literally never worked at your store or said that I did.
I am disgusted with how my friend and I were treated at this location. My friend and I went into the store around 8pm to try on shoes. I asked for a dressing room to try on 1 pair of shorts and I had 3 pair of shoes in my hand. When I asked for the dressing room the employee did not even respond to me and scowled at me before walking away and beginning to talk poorly about my friend and I in both English and mainly in Spanish. Not knowing that we understand both languages. My friend who had maybe 4 pair of shoes was outside of the dressing room and the employee attempted to put away her shoes as she was actively trying them on.
My friend let her know that we understand what she was saying and that we are still trying stuff on and will put them back. This employee then tried to justify her actions by saying that she was only talking about us because sometimes people leave their stuff behind and don't put it back and she was ASSUMING that we would do the same. I don't think there is ever an excuse to talk poorly about customers infront of their face especially when they were doing nothing but trying on clothes at a clothing store.
I spoke to the manager about the situation who essentially tried to justify the employees actions again saying that they were understaffed and she was overwhelmed. While I can empathize having a hard day it is not acceptable to treat people poorly because of that. I truly hope this location invest in retraining their employees in customer service because this experience was nothing short of disrespect and poor customer service.

If I could give it zero stars I would. The staff were rude to a friend and caused a unpleasant experience. Racism and unprofessional ism runs rampant at this place. Shameful behavior.

I googled whether or not they accept plus size clothing - it says they do. However, I was told nothing over size 18/20. It says up to 6X, but not this location, I guess. It should be uniform across all Platos - but I guess since it's a franchise, they can choose what to accept.
