So let me start off by saying I’ve been here twice the first with a whole bag of in season clothing in various sizes and they only took 2 items then I come here for the second time today they tell 15 for two big full bags of clothing which I thought was rather quick for the amount of clothing but after a little while I go the counter and they tell me they won’t take a single item which again this time I brought in I’m season fall items to which I look at the bag and they look like they were not even touched the workers are just lazy and do not want to do the job they were hired for will not be coming back

Very organized and good customer service. Clothes are a bit younger trend. Prices are fair. All items in very good condition, I forget they are second hand clothing, shoes, etc. I will be back

Will never sell (or shop) here again. I brought in brand new clothes, some with the tags still on, and they refused to buy anything. The items are definitely in season and various sizes. When I looked around, all the shoes had stains, the crocs had dirt in them, the clothes were old/worn and washed out. I hope they go out of business this was a complete waste of time.

the music was so loud I thought I was in a club. while the place was clean I got an uneasy feeling like I wasn’t welcome. employees are not too friendly and wear their attitudes on their sleeves. not worth my time driving here and would suggest others to go to a different location. unprofessional to a T

I was only successful here once, right when they were moving into a new season and probably needed to stock up. All other times they take an hour to sort then take a handful of items for pennies. I brought in 4 full bags only for them to take 10 items for a whopping $35 - $3.50 an item. Most in near perfect condition with tags and big brands. Once I saw they had No Boundaries (Walmart brand) leggings on sale so I brought Time & Tru (Walmart brand) jacket new with tags no stains and nope, wouldn't take it. A pair of men's Calvin Klein jeans new with tags never worn wouldn't take those either. And now they're no longer accepting XS/S sizes because they have too many. There should at least be a sign in the window about that. I truly wonder how they determine what they DO take. Buying isn't much better - the same knit sweaters, same black leggings, little variety. Despite a bit of success here and there, I will no longer be doing business with Plato's Closet. I'll stick to listing on Poshmark. Sad to see all these negative experiences and no response from the owner.

Horrible place. I would rate it 0 stars if I could. I went here during non busy hours, a mid Wednesday afternoon. To begin, I was "greeted" by a very rude worker who didn't even say hello and was very short and unprofessional with me. It took over 2 hours for them to look at my items, which was one bag. But here's the kicker - they didn't even look at my items. When I went into retrieve my items, they were all in the bag in the same order and another rude employee said "we can't take these because of wear" meanwhile, I had brand new Free People items in the bag, but they wouldn't know that due to not looking at what I brought. These girls are distraught, snobby, lowlifes who don't know the first thing about working retail or being professional. Plato's closet, you're the worst and I won't be returning to any of your locations.

If I could I would rate 0, I wish I read reviews before driving 40 mins out of my way. I brought a huge bag to sell and I had to wait 1 hr for them to go through it so when I came back for it they said they couldn’t accept any. They said they are only looking for mens clothes and sweater and winter wear( I had sweaters and even brand new with tags). I honestly don’t think they went through my bag everything was rolled up in the same exact spot I had it. I then confronted the lady about how they didn’t look through and they said they did but then i took everything out put it in the car and went back in with my sweaters and a handbag and told them why is none of this accepted. They only took the bag and a sweater not even the one with tags. They said the others they have high inventory( if you have high inventory why even have people do drop offs and mind you they had summer clothes put so I don’t know why my summer clothes were not accepted.) The lady then had a huge Attitude once I came back in and gave me a price for the 2 items which was $6.50 and I know if I was to sell them on an app or somewhere I would get more then that for both items.(I would love to know how they come up with their pricing and how they were able to take 2 pieces once I came back in and how they couldn’t when I first dropped them off).( if you only want certain items like they said when I was first told no they should post it on there website on want they are in need of right now). This was such a rip off. Wait of time and gas. Never trying this again. Please don’t waist your time with this pointless store.

Wow I am not surprised by all these negative reviews!! Was just here this morning and can confirm the girls that work here are EXTREMELY rude, immature and unprofessional... and I’m not even a seller!! I came here to BUY! The elder blonde woman that seems to be the owner can’t even manage her own staff and lets them behave this way towards her customers and HER... right in front of us! This is no way to run a business and with the gross condition of a lot of their inventory they should really be way more appreciative of anyone willing to buy their overpriced stuff. I found the same shoes on the website sold NEW for less than their second hand rates. Embarrassing.

Horrible place! We took 4 huge suitcases in 3 days and sold 2 pieces of clothing! We had clothes with tags still on, clean worn only once or twice, bought same season, clothing they are looking for and saying they are interested in, designer names and etc. But we would get ridiculously dumb reasons for not taking like they outdated, not in season or bad condition... Sometimes the cases were packed exactly like it was when brought! And the items they sell are in such atrocious conditions I wouldn't take if I was paid!I found out that the employees ask their friends or family to bring in their clothes and buy it all, then can't buy from paying customers! They have kids working there that has no clue about style.Save your time and energy, don't go to "Plato's Closet"!

If you are black give your clothes to your palm-colored friends. If you don't you will be told your clothes are outdated and will get nothing. I gave another rejected bag to my friend and she was paid for the same items they rejected! The people here said Jordache is outdated however Macy's is currently selling it. Today's teenagers are wearing 90's styles. The clothes are not even from the 90s and were recently purchased. I miss the timeframe for store returns and exchanges so I brought them to Plato's Closet. I guess they don't know the difference between "Polo" and "LAUREN" by Ralph Lauren. Don't waste your time! The crazy part is women from that town warned me about this store by telling me to send a palm-colored person to drop off the clothing. Lesson Learned!
