These guys are great. Very trustworthy and reasonably priced. They can diagnose any problem accurately and are always timely with their work. Plus, the location is great if you are a student and need to be within walking distance of campus.

Went to a different mechanic today to install a new cabin filter. He pulled out the existing one which was installed at Tiger garage a few months back. You can see the filter was deformed. He mentioned whoever did the previous installation just forced the filter in and didn’t even bother to make sure it expanded properly. no wonder the air in the car smells bad…very disappointed on the quality of the work for a simple job like this…

Am a student and Princeton and went to Tiger Garage to do my NJ state inspection since it’s the closest option in the area. Good service and done if I dropped my car off for the day, costs $75. However it’s impossible to get in contact with them—online website appointment scheduling doesn’t work, they didn’t pick up a call or ever respond to a voicemail I left. Didn’t know any details about the fees or services from online. They also didn’t even call to say they had finished servicing my car, I just went before closing. Had to walk in to schedule appointment which was easily available the following day. If they simply improved on communication they’d get five stars.

Exceptionally rude for no reason. I have been here multiple times without an appt and always had fair service. I arrive today and am told that I need an appt almost a week out and so was perplexed and expressed that. I step outside to figure out scheduling with my partner and when I come back in I am told that they will not service me because I questioned that they did not previously take appts. Unnecessarily rude and gruff and refused service for no reason. Avoid. Will be telling people not to use their service as a result.

I had a flat tire while car was parked at my place of work on the day I was scheduled to go from one place to another with limited time in between! I did not even realized that Tiger Garage is located across the street. I arrived there with just 8 psi! Fortunately Troy jumped right into fixing the flat tire! It was fascinating watching him do this with such ease and confidence while he was explaining it to me. He said I ran over a large nail and the nail popped out so my tire had a huge hole. Troy said he was going to just plug and seal the damage and this should last the life of the tire.
Tiger garage is Troy’s father’s small business. And Troy has been working there for 12 years, hence why he was so articulate and confident! I appreciate family owned small businesses. It’s the ownership & pride that they commit towards their product and services that makes the difference…at Tiger Garage, it showed yesterday! Today I’m scheduled for oil change and maintenance! I might have just found my go-to garage! Highly recommend.

I made an appointment online for my state inspection. They accepted it. I show up, and he tells me I have to drop off the car. That’s something they should have told me ahead of time. I had driven a half hour to go to this appointment. He said he had a lot to do today. If you overbook yourselves, that’s not my problem. I had made this appointment on Good Friday specifically because I have off today. I have had state inspections before, and I’m always allowed to wait there. It shouldn’t take that long.

Wonderful!!! My 10-yr-old Mazda abruptly started making a loud grinding noise on a long wintry drive last week. I have always gone to the Mazda dealership near where I used to live, but here, the closest one was a 25-min drive away and had no openings for more than 2 weeks. Tiger Garage is a 5-min walk for me, and a friend had highly recommended them a few months ago. I initially ruled them out, since they didn't mention Mazda on the long list of cars they can fix, plus I figured there couldn't possibly be any good options in this neighborhood. But after several frustrating phonecalls to other places, I decided it was worth a shot. I was able to describe the problem and request an appointment time online (a huge perk, I hate the phone), and got a confirmation email the next day. Took my car in this morning, and had a good feeling, I think it's a father-son business and they seemed very nice. They called about half an hour later with a diagnosis and estimate, and had the car all fixed up for exactly the quoted price a couple hours later!! Very reasonable too. It was brake failure, which I last dealt with 25 years ago, and I paid considerably less today than I did to my dealership decades ago for the same repair! Thank you :)

Troy helped me out with a transmission wiring issue in my 2016 VW Golf. Also helped fix an oil pan problem.
Very upfront about cost and expectations. Prompt service. Extremely professional.
