I have been going to this location for many years and never had an awful experience until today. I have gotten to know some of the personnel quite well over the years as most have come and gone. I don't know whats been going on lately with this location but, the drink shelves are never full. The drinks are always by the windows in boxes. The customer service rep and the manager were unbelievably rude. The drinks are always laying by the windows in the cases they're shipped in. I went in to purchase several cases of a drink I normally buy (around $200 per purchase) and the customer service rep said "you can't buy any of those." It has never been a problem in the past. So, I asked "why can't I purchase?" She proceeded to tell me they haven't been scanned in. I said "can you scan them in as I bring them up to the desk?" She said, "No, you can either come back in a half hour when they're scanned in, or come back some other time." She stated she was missing one and "it'll be awhile before I get this figured out." I also told her I am only here to purchase one brand of product. She said "whatever." I said, "can I please speak with the manager?" She stated he would be returning in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later someone comes walking in and goes straight to the back. I didn't know the guy who had just walked in was the manager. I waited another 15 minutes while the customer service rep counted/scanned the boxes several more times, and then I saw the manager come to the front of the store, by the windows, and count the boxes again. I waited until he was done and asked may I purchase some of your inventory. He looked at me and said with an attitude "she told you no." I asked to speak to the manager 30 minutes ago. He had no intention of addressing my concerns. Therefore, decided it would be best to ignore me until I asked to purchase. I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere with this current staff present, so I left. As I was getting ready to pull out, I decided to get some info about this location. I know Vitamin shoppes are a franchise because I looked into becoming an owner some time ago. So, I went back inside and asked for the store owners info. The manager told me "this location doesn't have an owner, you can call corporate." As I was leaving the customer service rep said "you can purchase those cases now." I decided not to make my normal purchase and left without further incident. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL LEVELS, AT THIS LOCATION. From start to finish, the customer service rep considered me a bother and the manager ignored me even though he was given the heads up I was waiting to speak with him. I can buy my product online from the drink company or one of your competitors, but I really liked supporting this company. I also believe in brick and mortar stores. I will not be returning to this location in the future, and I will not be shopping with Vitamin Shoppe from this point forward. This has not been the first time I've noticed this location having issues. My further purchases will now be online. Also, I will not be recommending my gym buddies to your location.

I gave this store a two star rating because the clerk was a nasty old woman. I walked in and was the only customer. I asked where the amino acids were located. And with a sour face she pointed ‘over there’. Generally when you are in a store asking for the location of an item, you may also need help. Not from this sad woman. She could have cared less. I milled about browsing as I made my way to the door. Hopefully her life becomes better.Since the 2020 pandemic you would think stores would welcome in store purchasing. Not here, So I will just do some research online and then just buy online. So much for trying in person sales assisted shopping.

I've been shopping at Vitamin Shoppe for over 12 years in St Louis, Seattle, Bay Area, Dallas for my supplements and other items and this store is the only one I ever encountered rude customer service. Upon entering, I approached a young man asking for help. He was visible yet an older portly man in the background that I did not see barked at me in response. First even though I was speaking to the other employee, the other one treated me as if I was hassling him for walking into this store. He then proceeded to have a loud conversation on the phone. Very unwelcoming. Also there are some products available in other locations I cannot find in this store. I will never return.

Always get for the vitamins needs. They now have a small Homeopathy section as well.

Had a problem with a protein powder that I couldn’t drink. Irene was such a pleasure to deal with she corrected my problem and was very helpful. Will be returning because of her great customer service.

I haven’t been to The Vitamin Shoppe in some time. This location is extremely clean and well organized. We called to ask if a product was in stock. She even held on to it for us because they were low in stock. Highly recommend!

I have always bought a lot at The Vitamin Shoppe in Nassau Park Pavilion Princeton NJ 08550, there was a super cute girl who took great care of us always, excellent costumer service and they removed her from the store, the biggest mistake they made, now there are 2 women, one is young, thin , with straight black hair; I think she is new working there; she is super rude, she doesn't leave her cell phone to serve customers and they make gestures as if they don't want to serve customers. The other woman is a middle-aged lady with blonde hair, just as rude as the other girl, they don’t know the products that are in the store and apart from that, they have a terrible attitude, it is incredible that they don’t realize how these 2 women are attending the clients. Completely disappointed. You are going to lose customers if you continue with that kind of customer service. I don’t want to go there anymore!.

With so many physical and virtual locations to buy nutritional supplements of every kind why frequent the highest cost alternative, The Vitamin Shoppe? Simple. They have most things in stock without the gratification delay of online or the absence of crowds that this off the beaten track location affords them. I'm no vitamin junkie or granola head but I do find the staff here extremely helpful at discerning the hieroglyphics of some labeling and uncovering whatever deals may exist. A solid four stars all around.
