“Carries a rare liquor not carried at other stores that my dude likes to drink. Does not carry all cigarette brands. Although I'm not a drinker this store seems to have any and everything you could think of.”

“I stopped in because I was killing some time while I got my bike worked on and decided to pick up a bottle of whiskey. I asked, almost in passing, if the person at the counter knew anything about whiskey. Her response was “a little”. She was being way modest. Gave me a run down of their in house and how it compared to my go to whiskeys and other comparable brands. It was an eduction and I dug it. Would definitely go back and I’ll be checking out their patio too. Highly recommend. No Notes. lol”

Parking can be awful at the wrong time - even the paid public lot gets full, and this is before the new apartment complex even breaks ground. My suggestion is to shop on a Sunday night since no one knows they're open until 9pm.”

“Neil is simply the best ! The store also has such a wide variety of spirits, wines and beers - really unmatched. Couple that with a guy like Neil who has a wealth and world of experience and is always ready to share, advise and guide but never in an intrusive way. We also recently had a graduation party and got all our liquor needs through HWL and Neil which included a keg. Everything went super smooth. With Neil’s guidance and the stores infrastructure we didn’t miss a beat. Including running out of ice and having them rush over faster than a first responder ! Highly recommend. (As an aside: ask him about Bob Dylan - there’s a story there 🙂).”
“I’ve been shopping at this liquor store for over 20 years, and it has always been one of my go to spots.
They have a great selection, fair prices, and the store is always clean, organized, and easy to shop. The staff gives you space to browse, which I appreciate, but they are also helpful and knowledgeable when you need assistance.
I recently noticed the store is under new ownership, and there have been some fresh, welcome changes that have made the shopping experience even better.

“Unbelievable selection of Bourbons, Scotches, Brandies, Rum, etc. Excellent selection of highly allocated items like Clase Azul Tequila, Champagne, Cognacs, and Specialty Bourbons (some very hard to get). Amazing selection of Cigars, and most importantly they take great care of their humidor. What makes this store unique is their customer oriented focused. They do go the extra mile for anyone. Very knowledgeable of the business, and the brands. Plenty of parking, plenty of stock, in store tastings, fast service. Outstanding customer service.”

“Raj and Yosh run a great store. If you are into whisky, this place has one of the best and largest selections. They are also very happy to assist you in trying different distilleries if you let them know what you like. I’m not sure if they do for all or their repeated customers, but they will be happy to let you sample something they’ve opened. Great service and I’ll be returning when picking up a nice bottle.”
