Overpriced and a surprise 7% fee for paying with card. Place was completely empty. Food was average.

Waiter was a great salesman and polite. One iced tea had to be asked for 3 times, one meal didn't come out until everyone else was almost done.5 adults went, and we were presented a bill with automatic 20% tip... and told a 7% discount for cash and 3% surcharge for credit card. We normally tip 20% so that wasn't terrible. It was just a surprise with only 5 and the waiter didn't tell us it was already added. I get the cc surcharge... but cash discount sounds like.... fishy. We won't be going back...

The food is pricey but didnt bother me much because the food was good. What really put a bad taste in my mouth was the nerve of the waiter to complain to me and attempt to embarrass me in front of my lady and other customers for giving "only $20" tip for coming to my table 2 times and wasnt even the one who brought out my food. Its mind boggling the entitlement of some people now in days who want a great tip for doing minimum work. I wont be coming back to this place.

If the food was good they wouldn’t have to throw events to entertain and lure people in. Lobster was horrendously overcooked and had absolutely no flavor. For a $60 lobster tail I would expect it to be mediocre at best but instead was served something I would feel bad giving to a dog. Waitress was super nice though so that was a plus. Atmosphere had a nice beach vibe to it. But the food… god awful.Update: owner replies to call him or her directly and doesn’t leave a phone number to contact. Called the restaurant and they would not give info. Hope he or she reads this update: yes we complained to the manager and they said yes we’ve had a lot of similar complaints. Ok so what to do about it to fix the issue? The crabcakes also came out ICE cold and no way would I ever send them back and risk someone spitting in my food. And I’m pretty sure all of your great 5 star reviews were friends of yours that you asked to post. In reading all of your other responses to all of the other reviews that weren’t so good, you seem to blame the customer for their own bad experience instead of responding with service excellence and trying to make things right. Maybe you need a course on business management and customer relations.

Update to this review, not that they care. 35 minutes to pick up was almost an hour. At least 20 people waiting for food to go. And they charge generously for a topping but are in such a hurry to make the pizza they barely add the topping.Menu has a bit of everything. Salads and fish are all good. Sit outside, it's quieter.

Went here last night for the first time in a few years based off a recommendation from a coworker who said its under new ownership. Our server Haley was so attentive and she made us feel like we were her only table even though we could see her running around to her other tables! Just from looking around the restaurant seemed a little understaffed but our food was delicious and the drinks were great too. We ordered the crabby dip, shrimp tacos and fish and chips. The trivia was a plus. We will definitely be back to see some of the other events and will hopefully see Haley again!

Had an awful experience here for an early lunch yesterday. My friend and I decided to go at 11:30am, since we both had afternoon obligations. I arrived first. I asked to be seated in a booth. Upon being seated, I noticed a terrible smell, like sewage. I called the waitress over and inquired about the stench. She immediately apologized and admitted she smelled it too, and she proceeded to explain the bathrooms were being "emptied". I asked to be moved. (who wants to have lunch while breathing in fecal particles?) I was moved into another section. My friend arrived shortly thereafter. I ordered shrimp tacos and she ordered new england clam chowder. The food came out and it looked great, but my shrimp wasn't cooked and her soup was cold. We were the only patrons in the dining room at this time, so it's not like the kitchen was overwhelmed. Needless to say, we sent the items back, and they fixed everything, but it simply shouldn't have happened. A truly disappointing experience.

Nice place, good food. Just watch your bill. They have different costs for cash and credit card. I was a 3% Fee on the bill, but we were paying cash. Only after questioning the fee were we told there's a 10% discount for cash. Had we not noticed the fee and asked we would have paid the higher amount. I feel they should ask cash or credit and then bring the correct check.

We were looking for a place for my mother's 70th birthday party and chose Mr. Crabby's because the variety of the menu gave the non-seafood eaters in the group some options to work with. We made a reservation and, upon being seated, were told we'd have two servers helping us tonight, which was nice because our group can be needy at times. I don't remember either of their names but one was nicer and more courteous than the other, though I wouldn't categorize either as rude. However, there were several occasions where we had to ask more than once for simple things like a cup of water or a to-go lid, which was surprising since we commanded most of the dining room and the place wasn't very busy. They also brought the wrong items to the table a couple of times. The food is good, albeit a bit overpriced. I'm sure I could find a better skirt steak for cheaper than $30 but I didn't leave there feeling like I got cheated. I also ordered a cherry water ice which tasted like syrup over crushed ice with a dollop of whipped cream. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't order it again if I went back. I do recommend the burgers and wings though. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're into seafood or looking for a place to grab a drink and watch a game.

I struggle to understand how this place stays open other than the waitstaff. The workers are fine, atmosphere is fine but the food... their signature is seafood but it's very underwhelming. Tried multiple seafood dishes including soups and couldn't even make it halfway through them. Wrong textures and odd flavors-- just didn't sit right with me. I haven't tried their other dishes, not sure how the land-dishes are but probably won't be back to find out. It's a cool place to have a drink but that's about it.

The food along with the service is great. I had brian as a waiter who couldnt do enough for me. Alexander made a delicious pina colato. Entertainment was provided by bryan breathes who is M njry talented in playing the guitar, piano, and harmonica. He gets a lot of participation through the use of his cards which are used through th phone. If you get the

Wife went there to meet friends and brought home food for my daughter and I. My pizza was the most salty garlic abomination I’ve ever had…not edible. To boot my wife ordered crumbled sausage and the pizza was equipped with the sliced variety. (Yes she should have checked when brought out) I think they used garlic instead of onions. My daughter’s burger was 2 browned slivers with raw meat in the middle. The cheesesteak appetizer came with ketchup…weird or mistake?!? This is the first negative review I’ve done but I felt compelled to do so because the food was that bad. Our order was $120.00 of nonsense. The saving grace is that the Mrs. said the vibe and atmosphere were good as was the service.
