There are several reasons why I give them a 5. First it started with childcare. It was so nice to workout and have a engaging, comfortable and safe place for my child. It’s not over crowed ( they have a limit) The childcare staff is so attentive and it’s clean! The exercise equipment is plentiful and cleaning stations all around. The class instructors are motivational, nonjudgmental and super fun! I see a mixture of young old and in between in those halls. There is something for everyone. My children have partaken in swim, dance, and lego club. Personally it has been great value for our family of five.

Positive: There is a lot of equipment.Negatives:-Many of the bar bells and the weights are rusted over. This gets on your clothes very easily.-They built a culture were almost none of their patrons clean their machines after use.- They will close down for the day if they have an issue like power outages.-Some areas have a weird smell.-Locker rooms are out dated.-Very expensive for what you're getting.

I have been a member of West Morris Y for many years. What I love about my Y is they continually evolve and their members benefit from that. They have state of the art equipment, great classes, and a beautiful pool. Their personal training is amazing. I have been training with Mina for 8 years. He keeps me strong and agile! They also have group personal training which is fun and very affordable! You will never do the same workout twice as they keep it engaging and fun. The Y is clean and bright making it a pleasant place to be. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They have the absolute state of the art E-GYM which is a pre programmed workout circuit that does all the programming of your weight and sets up the machines based on YOUR fit test. You sign in with your wrist band and the machine sets everything up for you. E-GYM IS perfect for all members from the experienced gym member to someone who needs to be welcomed back into the gym if they have been out of the loop for a while. You can tour the Y and see if it is for you. It is the only gym for me! While some may consider the locker room outdated, it is always clean. I don’t care about the locker room. This Y puts funds into what you go to the gym for-equipment you don’t have at your home. Cardio equipment is replaced, I believe every two years so it’s in great shape. The main workout room has amazing cable machines with multiple ways to use them. There is also a free weight room. The main workout room has additional cardio equipment to boost your heart rate during workouts! If I could give it more than 5 starts I would.

Very accommodating hours. EGYM is included with membership, only have to pay a one time fee to have a trainer walk you through the routine and get the equipment set up. Great mixture of ages.

place is low key ridiculous. great gym and great everything really but they can’t keep the place nice. they close at least once every 3 weeks for some stupid issue that they get the cheapest option to fix so it just breaks again. they don’t wanna spend any money and it would be nice if the CEO would wake up and realize that. power was out today and they waited 45 minutes to send out a notification that they were closed. complete joke and so annoying

Really disappointed with this YMCA location. At first it appears that you can do so many activities here, let’s say you want to play pickle ball, then you should take leave from work and come to play in afternoon because there is no pickle ball in evenings and over the weekend. Even after paying close to 70$, if you have to use egym, then pay extra for that, same for swimming as well. Overall because of timings and extras you can hardly do anything here, there are better options nearby Randolph, NJ.

Too much money for this place to be constantly closed. Aquatics pool has been closed for what feels like a month yet, they are happy to continue charging your CC while they are going through their quarterly repairs. Staff is a bit rude also, would not recommend this place.

I’m really glad we decided to become members of the Randolph YMCA. My entire family really enjoys coming. Immediately, Monica made me feel welcomed and helped me feel comfortable leaving my then 6-month old and 2 year old in babysitting, encouraging me to take a little time for myself. The babysitters are all kind and excellent. Since coming, the babysitting room has been transformed and looks great, seems to be organized in Waldorf and Montessori inspired way, making it easy for kids to find new ways to play. There have been a ton of cool kids events since joining, we especially love the Halloween event and Healthy Kids Day. My eldest asks to come to the “ABC’s” now! I’m really glad Monica reminds us to come to events when we visit the Y, because they are really fun.Sammie in aquatics and the aquatic instructors run things smoothly and are very helpful. My kids really enjoy their swim lessons.I’ve seen this place go through many repairs and efforts to keep it up and running- and it shows! I think it is organized and clean. The efforts don’t go unnoticed. Overall, we are happy with our memberships and the lovely staff we’ve interacted with.

Had a wonderful workout here for the first time. The only big issue I had was hours of operation, my friend and I were finishing up getting dressed in the locker room and one women mentioned kindly they are closing. When we left the locker room a male staff member had a negative attitude with us. As we were exiting he was telling us angrily how “he wanted to go home and how other people have life’s too” multiple times as he followed us out. Essentially complaining that we took too long, while walking us out the building. Then when in my car another vehicle seemed to be waiting for us to leave. This whole situation made me and my friend very uncomfortable! I have NEVER been here before, I completely understand your closing and we were NOT trying to be rude! But You don’t have to be rude about it and rush people out! Due to this I will not be a member.

Could be so much better with some modernization and upgrades. Bathroom needs upgrades. Would be nice if they clean the vents, and redid the locker room. Steam room still shut down. Pool looks nasty. But all in all, it's great to have all the amenities they do have, altough it is getting very pricey the past decade... I also paid a year in full right before March 2020 and lost all that, plus they threw away my stuff I had in a rented locked without a call...

Love, love, love this YMCA!!! Actually very surprised to see any negative feedback. I have never had a negative interaction with any staff member. Super friendly and accommodating, with expanded hours. Clean facility lots of classes with qualified instructors. The daycare is clean with the employees are absolutely awesome. Haters gonna hate but this is my home away from home.

I’ve never seen a YMCA so badly run in my life and I’ve been members of other YMCAs my entire childhood. This place does not accommodate members and I’ve been a member for less than a week. The hours don’t make any sense and their lack of family swim time is appalling. Do NOT join!!!

My bf and I get a viral infection everytime we go, had to cancel my membership. The machines, track , and sauna, were great but being sick every week to try and better our health is providing me drawbacks. We work from home and use the Y to get out of the house, but we decided we needed to find a different gym to avoid getting sick every other week. Could just be the time of the year, but after 3 years of Covid I was hoping there would be systems and measures in place to keep germs down.
