Absolutely the worst customer service I've received in years. We were recommended to go to this business for a helmet fitting by our child's team and were treated with nothing by eyerolls and disrespectful behavior. Every time we asked a question, the man behind the counter responded with "just go online". Against better judgment, we decided to bring my child in a few hours later to actually try helmets on hoping another employee would be working, but was treated in the same horrible manner. He wouldn't help, fit my child for a helmet or MOVE from behind the counter. With so many small businesses closing their doors, I don't know how or why this one is still open.

The site said orders over $99 were eligible for free shipping. I was originally only buying a lacrosse stick for $69 and there was a $33 shipping charge. I added another item to reach the free shipping eligibility and the checkout system charged me $44. I proceed to purchase the items and emailed customer service to process the shipping refund and they refused. I cancelled my order and will never buy anything from them again.

I just had to write in and share what a wonderful experience we had with Cordell at UL in Randolph. My wife and I are relatively new to the sport and know next to nothing about equipment. Cordell gave us thoughtful answers to every question we had and, most importantly, didn't try to upsell us/sell us anything we didn't need it. This established a level of trust all consumers look for and cemented that we will back for any and all of our daughter's lacrosse needs. Thank you so much, Cordell.

I have to commend Universal on their tremendous customer service. I have had four goalie sticks strung there in the past 12 months. Goalie heads are not easy to string, especially older models. The last two I had strung, we’re not throwing well, initially. I visited the store to explain my concern. They were busy restocking on a Friday afternoon, but dropped everything to help me. We went outside and took turns passing with the sticks as Chris made adjustments. The sticks were for a young player who doesn’t have the skills necessary to adjust his throwing motion to the stick. The stick just needs to work. Chris went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Best service I have experienced in a long time. Brick and mortar stores like this are challenging businesses. I strongly recommend trying Universal before you buy gear online, especially when fit and/or service can make a difference. Thanks Chris!

I would not recommend buying through their website. They have very stringent return policies. I purchased Maveric lacrosse pads for my child that appear to be either a manufacturer defect or a poor design as the arm hole is way too small for a 9 year old and are not adjustable. Universal Lacrosse refused to accept a return or exchange, hiding behind their 30 day return policy. Problem is this was a Christmas present and couldn't exactly have had him try it on sooner. Likely my last purchase from this company.

Nice little store! Not alot of variety with brand names, but they have a nice selection for what they have equipment wise. Sean was friendly and helpful during our visit!

Great experience here today and reinforced why I go to a store where they sell and know lacrosse. Needed better pads for son playing box. Keith helped us out. Knew the game. Knew what we needed, and actually was able to upgrade existing pads for far less than I expected. Wouldn't have gotten this anywhere else. This is the only place we will go for our LAX gear. Thanks!

I have ordered from here twice now. The first time was fine but this second time has been a prime example of a company not caring and then not being totally honest when trying to cover their a#@. I ordered a strung head and two shafts on September 20th. On September 28th I received an email saying everything (the strung head and both shafts) had been shipped. Over a week to get the items shipped? I was alright with this because of the head stringing and I was told that was what was holding up the order. On October 1st our order is delivered (according to the tracking information and email from Universal it should have been the head AND 2 shafts) and all we received was the strung head, in a plastic bag in our mailbox. No shafts and no protection for the head being shipped other than just a plastic bag. I email and call to figure out what is going on. I am told this morning, October 2nd, that the shafts were out of stock and they will be shipped out as soon as they are received. We ordered these items on September 20th in hopes that we would have them before October 4th, the date of my son's next game. Because Universal did not inform me at the time of the order that the shafts were not in stock (I think they are and Universal is not being truthful here and just did not mail them like they said they did) we are now sitting here almost 2 weeks after ordering and the shafts are just now being put in the mail. Completely ridiculous and I still believe they just screwed up and forgot to mail the shafts.... and are now lying to cover their a##!

I have been going to Universal Lacrosse in Randolf for the last 5 years at least. Everytime we are there the guys are great. Knowledgeable, take interest in their customers and are very social. My husband called to see if it was possible for them to look at my sons stick before we went to a local clinic. The gentleman that answered the phone wasnt so nice. He was very short in conversation and told my husband that they dont have the time to restring the whole head that day. If he took the time to find out what we actually wanted he would have know that it would take 3 minutes. We went day of clinic and the same gentlemen was there. Again very short with us telling us that it is the busiest day of the year for them. He then had the yound guy help us and he was a pleasure as well as the young guy who helped my boys pick out the new string for their new sticks that we ended up purchasing, which we did not plan on doing but almost $700 later we walked out happy with the 2 kids but the older guy not so much. I called a few days later to find out his title and he said I work here. No kidding you work there. He asked me are you trying to sell me something why do u need to know. It turns out that he is head of sales and his name is Sean. Sean is not someone that should be dealing with the public. Forgot to mention as well that while we were there he was on phone with another customer and was short with them as well. We were the only people in the store besides 2 others and he could have taken the time to help whoever but for some reason he didn't. To the new manager of the store hopefully you can help him with his manners and how to deal with the public.

I placed an order (#1000065893) on January 2 for two shirts to wear when we will be attending my grandson's game on February 29. My Discover card was charged on January 3 for the order. It is now 6 weeks later and I have received absolutely NOTHING! I called and left 2 voice messages with my order number and have completed the customer service information online twice but have received no response. If I don't get any response by Monday, I plan to contact Discover and report the charge as a fraudulent charge because I have not received my merchandise nor any explanation as to why or where it is or if and when I can expect to receive it. Their customer service is worse than a company in China!
