They turned us away late on a Friday night, Too busy, understaffed. So not "really" 24/7 emergency care.

Dr. Guy and her staff made one of the hardest days of life a little easier. Words cannot express the gratitude I have towards Dr. Guy! Thank you for everything you did for my dog, but also me.

Unfortunately, our Puggle of 10 years, Spencer passed away at 8:45pm on last Tuesday 9/24. Anirmerge was kind enough to allow us to bring him in. They gave us moments alone with him to grieve. Yesterday, we got a beautiful hand written note in a card expressing their condolences on the loss of our Spencer. I’m grateful they allowed us to bring him and gave us respect during this time. They also gave us cards with his paw prints. They were kind, caring, and compassionate

We brought in our very ill and old cat last night after she declined rapidly within hours. Where I have to say that the vet and the couple of techs in the back were very sweet and compassionate, the front desk girl, and the younger tech dealing with us directly need some more training in how to handle customers with more sensitivity. The first thing we were told when we stepped in was that 'just to let us know' it would be a 3 to 4 hour wait. We told her about the condition of our cat and she had us fill out papers and wait in the waiting room. After a while, the younger tech came out to take a look at our cat and one of the first things she said was "I can tell you that this is going to be at least $1000 for the diagnostic workup, just so you know". She took our cat in the back then came back out to tell us that she's in a bad condition and if she's a DNR or full code. And then again after a while with a list of medical questions. Where in general this would have been fine, she sounded impatient, short and rude, and everything was discussed in a full waiting room with myself crying while realizing that we're not taking our cat back home anymore. I gave 3 stars because of the very nice vet and rest of the staff in the back, otherwise I would have given none.

I took my dog here on Labor Day and was able to get her care relatively quickly! My dog is doing much better since visiting. The only issue we had was they recommended her to stay impatient for days for a much higher cost which did not seem necessary was was not needed.

Too expensive - ended up costing more than having someone come home and do the task. They give a different amount over fone and the care taken to log the dog’s information was very bad and needed so many corrections.

Best ER clinic around. My 1.5 year old dog got something stuck in his eye and started developing an ulcer. I took him here and they took great care of him despite his aggressive tendencies they were very understanding of and knew how to handle.
They rinsed my dogs eyes but since an ophthalmologist wasn’t in site sent me home with some meds. When the ophthalmologist did come we came back in a few days later where my dog got an examination and turned out he was the foreign object fell out and was OK, didn’t even charge me for the follow up!
Highly recommend very friendly and highly skilled staff here

An animal emergency room is not a happy place, let’s face it. The staff here does amazing work. Dr. Barbara Guy is top notch. We were kept informed about our beloved dog’s condition, and everything was explained thoroughly. The staff here provides a service that you hope you’re never going to need, but when you do, AnimERge is there. Thank you for saving our girl! ❤️

Poor experience. Arrived at 7:30 PM and not evaluated at 10:30 PM with very little confidence in being told “you're next” means anything at all. This is not how to run a practice.

This place is amazing everyone is so compassionate and really care for their patients!
My dog Berlin had gotten into the garbage and had ingested foreign material. Immediately when I brought in my dog she was brought to the back and evaluated. I had no wait time. Berlin was admitted to the hospital Sunday night and stayed until Tuesday morning. During that time frame the entire works was done on Berlin. I really liked how they covered everything to make sure nothing could have been missed. By Tuesday morning I got a call that unfortunately the material in Berlins stomach was not leaving her stomach and everything was still kind of at a stand still. I was recommended to transfer Berlin to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital so if anything had changed with Berlin during late hours of the night a surgeon/specialist could see her immediately since they always have one on staff.
I really appreciated the recommendation of them telling me to transfer my dog, even this meaning they wouldn’t be getting to see her case to the end and benefit from the price of whatever procedure my dog needed. This shows how all staff at animerge will do anything it takes to keep your pet safe. Thank you to everyone at animerge for working with Berlin, making her transfer extremely smooth by informing Red bank with everything they needed to know. Thank you for all your patience with my extremely anxious dog. Thanks to all of you Berlin was taken to surgery Tuesday afternoon and now is recovering waiting to come home. You all have helped save my best friend and I will forever be grateful.

I brought my childhood dog here on June 27,2024…. We had to put him down and we paid extra $60 for a clay pay print I called them to revive my paw print and they said “ I’m sorry the person who took care of you that day didn’t put in the system I’m so sorry” and they are gonna refund me but I find it so unprofessional. I don’t recommend coming here

I had to help my pet rat move on after suffering a stroke. Upon calling I was treated with such kindness and consideration for our situation. After arriving staff treated me incredibly. They gave me a private room to grieve in, provided me tissues and comfort. I am beyond grateful to the staff for their kindness helping my best friend pass on, they were true angels when I had no one. Highly recommend this location for your animal emergencies. The staff is caring and generous, they showed me and my rat such generosity I will never forget. Thank you for helping me and Dean

We had the most amazing experience with Animerge. The woman at front desk was extremely helpful and friendly and professional. . The vet and the vet techs who tended to my dachshund were beyond amazing. They kept us informed at all times as to my dachshunds condition and without being pushy at all they gave us their recommended course of treatments and never once pressured us one way for the other. They had my dogs interest at heart at all times. They were the utmost professional and I felt my dog was being taken care of the best way possible way. I wish I could use them as a regular vet but they are strictly emergencies only. I will 100% come back here (hopefully not for my dogs sake ?) should we need their services again. Thank you Animerg. !!!
