Unfortunate one star review for this place. I’ve now bought 4 different hamsters. The first two they sold us sick which absolutely traumatized my kids to see their hamsters suffer. The second pair we bought were living together. The gentleman who gave them to us told us they could since they already were companions in the store. A month later, one of the hamsters brutally killed her companion and just a few days later the surviving hamster was manic. My daughter called this place to find out how to help it as she was absolutely appalled to find her other hamster maimed and dead and wanted to desperately help the one she had left. The place told us they would call us back with help but never did. That hamster then died and my daughter once again found it dead and panicked once again. We called the place right after to complain and the employee told us to bring the now dead hamster and the other one if we still had it, to the store in a PLASTIC BAG for a refund so they can look at the animal. I’m incredibly unsatisfied with this store and their knowledge on the animals. My daughter is traumatized by these deaths and we got them for her in hope for them to be therapeutic. I’m beyond upset.

One of my favorite pet stores to go to, very clean and staff are all very helpful. Jason is the best and always extremely nice, diligent and knowledgeable, genuinely cares about all customers and pets!

The manager at Petco, Dave, is the worst. He has no idea what customer service is. I hope he gets fired.

Dave, the manager is the worst. He knows nothing about customer service. He needs to be fired. Apparently he's too busy to provide customer service because he's nowhere to be found at the store. What's the point of having a walkie talkie if you're not going to have it on you. Corporate, you need to fire this guy.

The guy at the counter was not having any knowledge and was of no help. I had to even remind him to apply my 20% discount otherwise he was charging me full amount.

Do not know how that store stays in business. Visited fish department 3 times. Never anyone there. Finally on the 3rd trip I asked a female cashier if someone can get me some fish, her response was " I will do it in a minute. It was with a typical entitled attitude. I do not know why it would have taken a minute there was no one in the store. Went to Pets martial and bought a 100 dollars of fish..

The experience here is okay. There never seems to be an employee around when you need one. Registers are always backed up. Typically only one employee at register. If prices weren't sky high compared to other other retailers, I'd probably shop here more. I usually just come in for my dog to get a bath and have her nails cut. The price is pretty competitive compared to other grooming businesses. Although I just bring my dog in for a bath, I'd say they just do an okay job as well. I can't speak for the hair cutting. Prices have gone up about three or four times just this year alone. The convenience of setting up an appointment is easy thru the app, and they remind you which is good for people who are always busy.

Went on 10/19 to get a cat pill shooter device that was listed as in stock on the website. The shelves were bare and no pill device to be found. I was checking out another product (feline nutrition paste) and it showed it expired in August of 2023. It was hard to shop as there were boxes all over but I walked around the store for a good 20 minutes and no one asked if I needed help. I found some pill pocket treats up by the register on my own. I asked the cashier about the pill shooter device being available online for in store pickup within an hour and if it was possible for anyone to check in the back for the item since I needed it for my cat that night. She said the person who fills online pickup orders went home for the day and no one was available to look for me. I returned home and ordered the same product online from a competitor and had it overnight shipped for the same price.Not sure if it was just an off night or the economy hit this location hard, but I miss the days of actually getting a specialty item from petco when I was in a pinch.

I found what I needed…canned puppy food. Plus a toy. You could increase the number of toys for tiny dogs, though.

This place has product variety and a nice aquatics department. I like spending lots of time here checking out the aquariums and terrariums. The crickets and meal worms are top quality. I just wish there were more staff on duty or present. I'm always waiting for someone to get what I can't get myself. It's seriously frustrating in such a nice place.

The level of service I received was exceptional! Dawn was so knowledgeable, kind-hearted, and genuine. She made great recommendations that fit my needs and budget. Most importantly she did not make me feel judged for having previously fed my dog cheap food that is considered sub-par or unhealthy in general which was my biggest worry walking into the store. Thank you!!!

The staff is rated 5 star. Everyone I encountered has been friendly, helpful, and cares about the pets.Maybe it was poor timing, but the inventory for leashes, harnesses, and toys was limited. A large selection is listed online, so I'm not sure if the goal is to push traffic online. Attempting to log in to the website is so frustrating that I decided it is not worth the aggravation.

There was no one around to help me find anything. The store itself was hard to navigate compared to others I have been to. There was only one register open. Shelves in areas were messy and not positioned above the appropriate price labels.
