I live in South Bound Brook, NJ. To be clear, I did not know anything about Save Haven nor its people before I brought my computers to them in March of 2024. They're just a local business in my town that recently took over the space that had been a local pharmacy. I am giving 5 out of 5 stars for Vic, George and Tim at Safe Haven. Here's the condensed backstory:
I own two Dell desktops: an older OptiPlex 9010 with two standard hard drives and a much newer OptiPlex 7090 with two SSD hard drives. That's my primary machine and has 1,000s of files of my photography and my own music that I've recorded. Suddenly and without warning this machine would not boot. It was not recognizing the drives. Because the machine is much newer, my first call was to Dell Pro Support, who informed me the service plan had expired two weeks prior. They also did run some remote tests. They came up with all hardward passing tests and suggested I do a full reinstall. That's their easy go-to which would wipe out all my data. So I hung up, made an appointment with Geek Squad but then found Safe Haven. I called them, arranged to bring in my Dell and canceled Geek Squad. Best thing I could have done. The first thing George did was get into my drives to see if my files were OK. They were. He copied everything to keep it safe. Then they went to work figuring out what happened. I had the machine back within 3-4 business days at an excellent price and with excellent service.
I also brought in my 9010 which had both hard drives replaced and a new power supply. I had that one back in 1-2 business days, also at an excellent price and with excellent service.

Fixed my barely 2 year old Samsung laptop that wouldn't boot up and were able to save my data (fried motherboard) for what i felt like was an extremely reasonable price. Would definitely use again!

Went to Safe Haven today with a computer issue. Met with George. He immediately diagnosed and corrected my issue. Courteous, professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Safe Haven for your computer needs.

These guys are amazing!I built my own computer with a friend (who knew much more than I) years ago and finally started having some issues. I went to Microcenter as it seemed like a great option. They told me my graphics card was failing along with my HD. I knew that wasn't the case but they printed out generic "failed" test papers as explanation, it wasn't even the same manufacturer as mine. Just seemed so shady. They charged me over $100 for diagnostics/testing and had to fight not to pay for the anti-virus software they installed without my permission.I took my computer to Vic at Safe Haven in Raritan Boro and they made a few reasonable upgrade suggestions and options. They had the computer a few days and fixed the issue without needing to replace any hardware. The same hardware also passed all Safe Haven's tests.They didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They actually educated me and let me make a decision. All around great experience and genuinely friendly company! Really looking forward to seeing their new location.Thanks again guys!

These people are excellent, professional, and will take care of your computer like it's your child. I brought my heavy build and not only did they take care of the issue but they ultimately fixed my own mistakes with the fan and with some settings to help it run at top settings for no extra cost. They take real pride and care for their work. They wouldn't even accept a tip. Shout out to George. It's the only place I'm comfortable bringing my computer and I'd say whenever I have a issue which are far and few between they the best in the business. Saved me hundreds of dollars with such care. 10/10

Friendly, communicative, and all done at a very good price. Helped clean, apply thermal paste, and diagnose some performance issues with my gaming/home computer, would highly recommend if you want trustworthy and skilled service.

These guys help me out with my gaming PC. I was upgrading processors, but I couldn’t get it to work, having issue loading games over heating. So I took it to them. Gave them a call they explain some things over the phone what it could be. Being new to all this gaming pc stuff I couldn’t figure it out. Brought it in yesterday 1/4/23. They explained to me what the process was gonna be to figure out what was wrong. On top of that I had a million other questing about my pc they took the the time to explain to me what I wanted to know. They very informational about everything.And not pushy about anything bc I was looking to upgrade some other stuff on my pc and they were honest saying its not worth doing since I had a great set up. Which I thought was a good thing bc some places would try to sell you on something to make more money but that wasn’t the case. So after all that I left and they said they would give me a call in a few days and let me know about my PC. I got a call today at 12 PM. 1/5/23 saying I was all set. So I went there around 3:30 today. Explained everything they did and updated and got my new processor working I brought it home and hooked it up and everything works as it should better then it did b4 I took it to them. Very quick and professional I look forward to doing more business with them and already been in contact with Vic about building a 2nd pc. I would recommend these guys for sure. Thanks again..

So I’ve never been here but I live right across the street from you guys and I have a gaming pc and it’s pretty dirty so my question is do you guys clean pcs? Because mine needs a pretty deep cleaning it’s been living in a kitchen so the smoke from all the cooking has left a small layer of oil on the pc if you could reach back I would really appreciate it

How does a legitimate review get deleted?I literally had the worst customer experience ever, when I took my home computer in for routine maintenance and got back a computer *with someone else’s data on it*. The next day when I returned with the computer to the business, I was told that the drive with the backups they had made had already been reused and my entire computer had been erased.All they were willing to offer me in compensation was a $100 credit on another computer.This place is NEITHER a “haven” not “safe”.This, essentially, was the review I left years ago about this place. I’m still livid when I think about the music I lost, the writing I lost, the fact that I told them I didn’t have another backup and I trusted them with my work, but they couldn’t bother to retain never mind offer me backups.I don’t know why my original review was deleted. I’ve used the same e-mail address since the. And just checked but never received notice of anything about this place since then, never mind never gotten a reason for removing my review.This is not something I like to do; I don’t get my kicks from knocking people online. But this place gets NO Stars from me (though Google won’t allow me that option).
