The nicest, most helpful people! We had a problem with our vehicle while traveling up from North Carolina for the holidays, so on Christmas eve we went to Avis. There we met Moe, the Avis rep. What a personality! Kind, patient and professional, he made the rental process easy and fun. A few days later we stopped in to extend our rental and met Sam, the owner. Personable, accommodating, another positive Avis experience. I see great things in the future for these two men. Meanwhile, they are great brand ambassadors for Avis.

The kid Sam was very helpful, I couldn't get car cause of my card limit, sam explained everything to me ans how to get it resolved, next day I came back and got the car cause of his advice, he is a very nice kid and very helpful and polite.Very good employee and very quick with the process, will keep renting from this location.

I honestly would have rated this a 5 if they were better at customer service. They don’t answer the phone and they do not respond to emails. You have to literally go there in person just to talk to someone. I have been trying to reach them for days. No answer. When you go in person, they only have one person working there.

Excellent customer service! We have rented cars at Avis in Red Bank at multiple occasions The staff is super friendly and very competent. Moreover, this office is very efficient - pick-up and dropping the cars is quick.

One of the worst car rental experiences I have had. Chose this company and location because they had Sunday hours. Usually use Hertz, who have been excellent. Pick up was uneventful except my check sheet said the tank was full and it was half empty. Extended rental from one day to two online. Quote was $114 for both days. Dropped off on Sunday before location opened. Waited for open to confirm everything was fine but no one had showed up by 9:15 and customers were already waiting. Checked back in at 09:40am one agent was there and he said car was fine. Agent called several hours later to say that I was being charged $30 for animal hair (no animal was ever in the car while I rented). Got email later which stated I was charged $191. Called customer service and was told that it was returned two hours after the location opened. This is when the Avis personnel got around to it. In this case two hours meant an extra day of charges. All in all, more than enough to dictate never doing business with this branch and likely with Avis again.

As usual, no problems at Avis in Red Bank. The manager is great, informed and helpful, great cars, and the entire process of picking up and dropping off is fast and efficient!

I have previously rented with Avis, and have Preferred status. Made a reservation very easily through the App. Received a call shortly after that the Red Bank, NJ location had no cars. Zero. App did not indicate any issues regarding availability. On a Thursday mid-day 03-03-22. How can this be possible? Extremely frustrated and had to cancel all my plans revolving around this reservation. Also closing at 5pm is ridiculous. There are people in the world that still go to work and need to conduct business after hours. Impossible with this company, unless you are at a major airport. Going back to Hertz. More expensive but always issue-free renting, whereas Avis there is either a billing problem or other issue every single time.

Sam is friendly, helpful and super efficient. He makes renting and returning smooth and easy. He is delightful to work with. I highly recommend the Red Bank location of Avis.
